"I'm late, I'm late... oh shit..." Deirdre kept repeating under her breath as she raced through the crowded hallways of her school. Her cute yellow summer skirt flowing behind her as she adjusted her white blouse collar. She turned another corner and began to parade down the stairwell, very bright orange-red hair bouncing behind her, it was worn down and her bangs kept falling in front of her pale face. She turned out of the stairwell and down the bright hallway, weaving in and out of other students who seemed to move slightly to allow her safe passage.

She re-adjusted her little blue backpack on her shoulder and stopped at a locker. Fingers turned from right to left, then back right. 21, 9, 15 and with a lift of the handle, the locker door swung open. The bag swung in front of her and was opened, she piled two textbooks into her bag and slammed her locker shut. The dial spun and she was back on her way.

"Almost... almost... oh, please don't be mad, please don't be mad..." She was talking again, very low and completely inaudible in the crowded hallway. Her eyes were looking for her boyfriend, the love of her life. She never use to be this worried about being a little late, but recently he had been a little different. They had been dating for a few months now, and it was only the other night that he had raised his voice to her over something. Since then though, she was careful to not upset him... she loved him after all, she didn't want to lose him.

She deserved better.
Behind those glorious, green and blue speckled eyes, lay the soul of a dormant monster. Like the foundation of a building, deteriorating slowly after years of rain and weathering, he was crumbling. What with the stress at home and the authorities, he just couldn't take it.
And the impending doom of his girl leaving was a bit of burden as well.

His girlfriend...she was most likely heading off to college, leaving him here, a loser. A failure. Just an uncultured prick that could barely read, she'd be abandoning him here. When he realized this, he did some not-so-good-things. To dull the pain, he shot up for the first time in years, and thought it would be a good idea to go driving under the influence. That ended up in a DUI, which didn't sit well with his mother, who was just trying to make sure they could afford her oldest son's college fund, while keeping her youngest (him) out of trouble.
Now he was on probation, with a curfew, and only a select few 'safe' places he could go after school for the next few months. He was starting to feem, and thus, was developing quite a temper.

And who was to receive the blunt of it all?
His sweet little girl. The girl he had fallen for; with her sundresses, and her auburn hair, and the way she accepted him unconditionally, despite his crooked little smirk of a smile and his shoulder-length hair that made mother's gasp and fathers humph in dissapproval.

Speaking of that girl, he saw her rushing down the hall towards him, searching desperately. No, he said to himself, he was going to do better from now on. Starting right now.

But his strength betrayed him.

Durion's hand shot out to grab her shoulder as she passed, and jerked her towards him. He stepped away from the lockers, pulling her out of the middle of the hall with a bruising grip. Even passerbyers slowed a bit to see the rough treatment, a bit shocked.
Durion paid them all no heed. He realized what he was doing and immediately let go of her shoulder, instead offering her a sharp little grin and shoving his hands in his jean pockets. "Hey." That was it. Hey. Just hey.

Poor girl, she was in such a rush she didn't even notice him standing in the hallway until she was looking at him. Everything happened so quickly to her as she felt a tug, the grip was crushing and strong and for a moment she thought she was getting dragged into a fight. "Ow!" She said startled, then once she realized who it was smiled and tried to shrug off the pain. He didn't mean it, she knew he would never hurt her. She looked at him doe eyed. "I'm sorry I'm late sweetheart... I was a little slow getting the notes finished and... and there were a lot of people in the hallway." She said with her oh so sweat voice. She bit her lip and looked down for a second. "Forgive me?" As far as she was concerned he could do no wrong. It wasn't his fault all these bad things happened, he was under a lot of stress... she got that.

She knew which way to his car, and she took his hand and began to walk outside. She didn't pay much attention to the few people who had stopped to watch the scene unfold, even though she knew they were all looking at her in disbelief. She had heard them talking about how she deserved better, how he was no good for her... but what did they know? They weren't in love.

"Hi, what's up..." She said to a boy in her class as they walked by, she flashed him an innocent enough smile, but quickly turned and looked away, remembering she was with her man... she remembered he was a jealous boyfriend. She was okay with that, but she didn't want to cause any trouble. She secretly prayed that the kid from her class didn't hear her, and wouldn't respond.

Durion shrugged, forgoing the hand holding in favor of snaking her arm around her waist. "I understand, hon. You were just takin' notes."
Most people had turned away in embarrassment by this point, but the few that remained were rewarded with a short growl that he tossed over his shoulder, and they immediately occupied themselves with other things. He made a small 'pfft' noise with his lips, rolling his eyes and turning his head to brush his nose against the side of her temple.

The boy nodded his head to one of his friends who had passed by, nearly missing the greeting Deirdre tossed another kid walking past. He said nothing, but his grip on her waist tightened and his hand flexed a bit on her hip, betraying his emotions.
"...look, love..." His voice was soft, his lips brushing against her ear as they started down the steps. "No need to say hello to every boy we see, now, is there?" Durion squeezed her lightly, in what should have been a friendly embrace, but really felt like a bear trap.

As they approached his car-an old Jetta, what did you expect? His Dodge pickup is in the shop-he unwound his arm from her waist, and asked, "Princess, it's up to you. Where d'ya wanna go tonight?" A charming half-smirk was tossed her way. How could a creature with such a lovable demeanor be horrid? He was rough around the edges, but...

She blushed, even though she felt like if he applied anymore pressure she might break in half. She still blushed, his voice was so dreamy and he was such a cutie when it came to these little things he did for her. She giggled softly as they got to his car and as their embrace broke so moved to the passenger side door and gave him a cute look over the door.

"Uhm... we can go to my place. My parents are out of town on business and probably won't be back until after the weekend." She said, normally she would have no idea what to do and try and pass the responsibility back to him, but luckily she knew nobody was around at home so they could hang out and not be bothered... mother and father didn't approve of him anyway.

Her should was still throbbing a little bit, maybe it was the angle he had taken her? It was probably her fault it happened, she should have been paying more attention, if she didn't jump when it happened her shoulder wouldn't hurt she thought to herself. It's my fault, but it'll go away... it's not a big deal. She waited for him to unlock the doors before taking the handle, and once the door was opened, sliding into the passenger side seat.

"Sounds good, kitten." Durion threw a sharp smirk her way, putting the car into gear and pulling out of the school.
He seemed in a bit of a hurry to arrive at her house; that may have been because he wanted to unload a bit of stress, and how better to do that than spend time with his best girl? And by 'spend time with' I mean 'have sex with.'
And, though I have a bad feeling about this, I doubt she'd reject him.

The boy rounded the car to open her door for him, waving an arm dramatically as a gesture for her to get out of the car, and grinning all cheekily. D'aww. He was sort of cute when he wanted to be chivalrous. Assuming she had taken his arm, they started inside. He could barely wait until they closed the door to turn her towards him and slip his arms around her waist, pulling her flush against him and practically crushing her lips against his. This wasn't too rough; infact, this is how he always was. Maybe he was back to his old self-?

She didn't mind the fast driving, these days everybody drove fast. Even her parents drove fast when they were going to the supermarket. It was just that kind of era, the era of fast driving. Once the door was closed she felt his muscular grip pull her close to him and they were locked in embrace

She let her eyes closed as she threw her hands up over his neck, and fell into his embrace, she was truly a lucky girl. She knew that his little outburst the other day was nothing to worry about, he wasn't angry or upset with her... he loved her, and she loved him. After a few more moments she broke the embrace, her face bright red and she took a few breaths. She let her bag fall in the breezeway and gave him a very cute look.

"So, want to watch a movie or something sweetheart?"

Goddamn, he loved that cute little smile. It made her seem like an innocent little angel, made her seem pure.
Sometimes, however, he felt like knocking that little angel of her dais, just to get her down to his level.

"Yeeahhh. A movie." He snickered a bit, taking control by slipping her hand in his and leading her to the living room. "Or..." He sat down, gently bringing her down into his lap and purring in her ear. "Orrrr...something...else."
Durion had her arms around her, apparently very intent on keeping her close, and one of his hands were slipping under the hem of her shirt as he nipped at her earlobe.

"How long didja' say your parents would be out?" A sly little grin was flashed into her neck, though he couldn't see.

She scrunched her neck and teasingly pulled away from his words, but he caught her by the earlobe and she let out a soft gasp. She giggled again softly and looked down at him, she bit her lower lip and flipped her bangs from in front of her eyes.

"Uhm... probably not until after the weekend, maybe longer. I don't know, they said it was important." She said and then turned to look down at him, she adjusted herself in his lap. He was playful, she knew that much and she always liked when he held her close to him. He was protective, the way a boy should be... that's what she thought, believed with all her heart. She reached over to the small end table and grabbed the remote control, she hit the -Power- button and the screen on the other end of the room flickered on.

"So, what do you want to watch?"

"You," he said rather bluntly, not even caring how cheesy it sounded and grinning broadly up at her. "Babe, I'd much rather watch you than some movie." He rested his chin on her shoulder, pouting up at her playfully and squeezing her.
It was times like these that made people rethink their monster-outlook on him.
He didn't seem so awful.

But that was neither here nor there. Right now, he was pressing her lips against the exposed skin of her neck, his hands coming to rub up and down her arms soothingly.

She looked back at him, the television droning in the background as she gave him a soft smile. But she could never see what other people saw in him, she never saw that monster that dwelled within. She wasn't stupid, but love blinds you in many ways. She pressed a button on the remote and the television flickered to another channel.

He huffed, hot hair blowing against her neck. No, he couldn't wait, goddamnit, he wanted her now. Still, the thought of forcing her disgusted even him, and he backed off, paying his attentions to her neck.
Durion begrudgingly watched television with her for a short while, before his lap began to go numb. He loved having her close, but this was getting a bit uncomfortable.

So, he gently shifted her off of his lap onto the couch, and shimmied down into a laying position with his head in her lap after undoing his hair from it's binding, letting it fall freely onto his shoulders.
He grinned up at her, cheekily, resembling something of a puppy. It seems he was capable of affection, we've got that.

Some more time passed and the television became boring, so she switched it off without warning and looked down to him and stuck her tongue out playfully. She moved his head a little as if to say she wanted to get up for a second. "Are you thirsty? Hungry? I can make us something..." She was almost the perfect girl sometimes. But, only sometimes.

The sun was setting and the rooms were all getting darker without the light from the Television.

"Mmm..." He had his eyes closed since she started touching his hair, nearly purring and rearranging himself in her lap to move closer to her fingers.
There was a silence after she, before actually opened his eyes. Durion contemplated this, and then gave a sharp little smirk, nodding.
"Hungry." He sat up, shifting to sit beside her and loom over her with that devilish little smile.

The boy leaned over her, planting one hand on the other side of her legs and draping one over the back of the couch behind her. "...not for food, though, kitten."

She went to get up, not really quick on the pickup, but his movement suddenly stopped her, she turned her body so that her back pushed up on the back of the couch and her knees swung up to where she was sitting, her feet danging off the side of the couch. She blushed again, and gave a cute little look as she put her hands on his shoulders. Not to push him away, just a playful gesture.

"For... what?" She asked, a little coo in her voice, she could be playful too, just no where near as aggressive as he was. Sometimes these little things scared her deep down, but she never let herself believe any of that fear. She brushed it aside as always, not paying much mind as she sunk deeper into the couch, her neck was resting against the arm rest now, and her hands remained planted on his shoulders.

He smirked at her quiet willingness to continue, and, as she began to lay down, positioned his body over her.
"You." That was the last word uttered before he pressed his lips to hers again, this time, more hungry than tender, near desperate for contact. His one hand was pressed against the couch by her shoulder to keep himself level, and the other was on her hip, his touch uncharacteristically light.

His leg slipped in between her knees, parting them in the process, and his that hand on her hip began to slip under the hem of her shirt again, brushing against the skin there.

She went to make a response, but found her mouth assaulted by his. She didn't protest as she allowed him to ravage her with that hunger, the desperation. He had pulled away, seeing her neck in the awkward position and smiling sympathetically. "You don't need to be uncomfortable for me." He was about to let her slide down, but then rethought it, sitting up.

Durion had even thought to ask if she wanted it, he had just assumed she was ready. Perhaps, somewhere in the back of his mind, he was taking advantage of the knowledge that she would never say no to him if he was eager enough.
His eyes seemed glazed over with an animalistic sort of lust, and the way he swallowed, waiting for her to reply, gave his impatience away.

She really couldn't say no to him.

Durion was growling low in her ear by the time the door shut, bringing her almost roughly to himself and his hands moving to grab the hem of her dress.
With ease, he had lifted it above her head, and soon was picking her up (assuming she didn't struggle) to stretch her out on the bed.
