Nathan accepted Sophia's kiss as his own ears flattened themselves against his skull while his tail once again danced from side to side in enjoyment once he was completely buried inside of her up to the hilt. "If you want to keep me, you might need to start calling me your girlfriend." She scratched just behind his ear again and kissed him one more time. "But if you don't want things to go that way, maybe we'll just be friends with benefits....though that might mean you'd have to share me." She tilted her head to the side, wondering what he might say.

Needless to say, that "friends with benefits" comment got Nathan irked mentally. But, she did have a point in saying that to him. "Alright then, girlfriend," Nathan began, smiling and chuckling a little as he spoke. "Now that we've got all of that cleared up, what should we do now?" He then asked, propping his chin up on the back of his hands while the palms of his hands rested on her bared breasts.

Sophia chuckled and nodded. "Sure, Nathan." She pulled him down with her and cuddled herself close to him, nuzzling her head to rest just under his chin. A soft purr escaped her and her ears completely relaxed as she rested her soft form against his. Her eyes closed, and the female neko slowly drifted into the realm of sleep...

Sophia appeared to sleep peacefully in Nathan's arms as the night went on, but the strange dream would continue throughout the night.

Nathan smiled softly in response before he was pulled over closely to Sophia, making sure that the full feeling of her body was close to his own. From there, he watched as the female neko eventually drifted off to sleep near him, snoozing comfortably as she did so. Before he soon joined her in the world of dreams, Nathan couldn't help but just reach a hand out to her and gently itch an ear of hers then place a kiss her cheek and forehead before whispering to her.

"Sleep well, my lovely little angel..." He said to her before placing the side of his head down so that his face was facing hers and eventually drifted off to sleep.

The dream began, one that showed an odd but bright glow somewhere close to him. Nathan couldn't figure out what it was, but there was something there just 10 feet in front of him that said that something was there. The question, he asked himself, was what? What was it that was making this odd glow for him to follow?

Throughout most of the night, Nathan continued to sleep, but there was something that caused him to wake up at different intervals. Something that he just couldn't put his finger on even if he tried.

The next morning, Sophia woke just before dawn, glad for the fact that Nathan's body was so close to her. She smiled and kissed him softly letting he soft lips press gently against his. "Thanks for last night, love," she whispered with a smile. Her bra was useless now, so she would leave it there for the time being. She found her panties and slid them on followed by her white flowing garments. Her hair, she left down for the time being. Fully dressed, aside from her bra, she stood ready to go out and do more digging. She took a sip from her canteen and looked at Nathan, smiling at him. She was glad that she'd spent time with him...but something about today told her that the digging she did would be more productive, and she would start in a different spot.

Nathan soon found himself awoken to the feeling of Sophia's lips pressing against his own in the form of a soft kiss, causing him to slowly open one eye then the other with a smile. "You're welcome." He answered as he sat up on his rear end for a moment and took in the sight of Sophia getting dressed in front of him.

Afterwards, Nathan would then follow suit, first getting his boxers on over his waist followed by the rest of his digging clothes. With that accomplished, he would then grab his canteen that he had left behind from yesterday and took a slow sip from it placed the cap back on once more before slinging it over his shoulder then stepped outside into the blistering heat.

"Hmmph. Another hot one..." He muttered to himself as he began to look around for a spot to dig. However, there was a noticable bounce in his step everytime that began to walk around before eventually deciding on taking a spot a little ways away from Sophia before commencing his dig.

Sophia smiled at him and started to rake through the sand with her fingers. She brushed aside the top layers with ease, sifting through it with her fingers. She smiled as she went about her painstaking work, switching to tiny brushes once she got deeper into the sand. Sleeping with Nathan had made waking up to face the sun worth it. By about midday, she was a good three feet down, her site nearly as wide in diameter as she was tall. Still nothing just yet.

"Having any luck?" she asked him, taking a swig of her canteen.

Nathan was pretty much apt with using his hands to get down and dirty into the sand as he continued digging on to about midday when he heard Sophia call out to him. He stopped for maybe about a few minutes to come out of a three and a half foot deep and wide hole in the ground to once more grab at his canteen and take a steady swig of it before he gave his answer.

"Nope. Nothing yet, Sophia." He answered, his brow brimming with sweat as he once more hopped back into the hole and continued shuffling some more sand around and brushing away stray bits and pieces of it at one point.

Seconds later, Nathan thought to have come upon something.

"Huh?!" He sounded when he felt his hand touch something that felt hard, thin and possibly metallic from what felt like when his fingers touched it.

"Uh... Sophia!" Nathan called up. "I think I got something!" He shouted again as he continued to dig around until he finally pulled out some kind of wand! Fully intact, at that!

Within seconds, Nathan scrambled out of his hole and held the wand in his hands, gazing at it and looking at it from side to side.

Sophia's eyes widened as she saw what he pulled from the sand. Instants after he held it up for her to see, she jumped over into his hole, staring at the wand. "Nathan....this is amazing...I think this is what we're supposed to find...." she smiled at him and put her arms around his shoulders. "I can't believe it, you really found it!" She kissed his cheek and took her brush, starting to clean bits of it off. "We have to get this to an examination room...I wonder what kind of metal it's made out of..."

She didn't know what to do with herself, she was so excited. She smiled and guided him out of the hole. "Okay everyone," she said. "You have the rest of the day off!" there was a cheer amongst the students and she grinned. "We have to call this in," she said.

Nathan continued to gaze down at the wand he held in his hands, dumbstruck at what he may have found. For all intents and purposes, this COULD very well be the object they had asked him and the other students here were asked to find.

He hadn't even found a reply as the words stuck to his throat, virtually unable to form either a sentence or even one word period. Even as Sophia placed a kiss on his cheek, he still couldn't think straight!

After a moment, Nathan quickly shook off the shock as he held the wand in his hands before nodding at Sophia. "Yeah. I also need a research book to find out if this is the very thing we've been looking for." He said as he looked back down at it, wondering what this could be.
