Forbidden Love. (silverroses ~ liynn)

Today was Isabella Swan's first day at high school in her new town of Forks, Washington and she was nervous as hell. For one, the school, if you could even call it that, had all of three hundred students in it and even that may have been rounding up. Another reason she was nervous was because she was apparently the talk of the town, she was the daughter of police chief Swan who had finally returned to lovely Forks after about a decade of living with her mother in Phoenix, Arizona. So naturally, everyone was staring at her as she walked from the parking lot to her first class of the day, being careful to look out for cracks and random debris on the sidewalk. The girl was absolutely determined to not make a fool of herself by tripping, especially on the first day of school.

(It's ok I don't mind if it's short) Edward slowly walked by the pathetic human to his chemistry class. The smell of her blood lingered in his nose and made him sick. Usually he could stand mortal's but it was something about this human that made him feel like this. Let's just get to class and forget about it. He thought to himself as his head slowly turned away from her and he followed his brothers and sisters into the building. You see Edward was no normal vampire, no, he fed off of animals instead of humans. The reason behind this was so that he could have a normal life and be near humans. But that also meant for him to redo high school year after year. Placing his book bag behind him on the chair he sat down awaiting for the teacher to start class. Little did he know that the 'girl' would be in his class.

Bella stopped in her tracks as she saw the five brothers and sisters pass in front of her. It was as if she had just stepped into a photo shoot for some high class magazine. They were all beautiful, every single one of them. One of the girls, the taller one, was the most gorgeous woman she had ever seen, she was sure of it. It made her feel a bit self-conscious about herself, as she was sure it did to every girl who crossed paths with the beautiful blonde.

As alluring as they all were though, one particular male stuck out to her. His skin was like marble and incredibly pale. His hair was messy and had an unusual bronze shade to it and he was tall also. The teen was impossibly beautiful and she could only compare him to a Greek god.

The plain girl looked at her schedule and looked at her map, her first class, chemistry, was right where the beautiful boy entered. "Oh God." She whispered to herself as she composed herself and entered the room quietly, although that didn't help any as all eyes turned to her. Bella blushed with embarrassment and tried to hide her face with her brunette hair as she handed her note to her new teacher and he assigned her to a seat, right next to Edward Cullen.

When she walked into the room he made a face and looked disgustedly at her. Oh how he wanted to kill her right now and suck her dry. When she came to sit down he moved to the end of the table and almost at the end of the chair. A shaky hand moved a small cylinder that the teacher gave to them toward her. That was it he turned away and stared out the window now. He could not wait for the class to end and he could get out of here. Away from her 'smell'.

As he made rude faces at her and just plain out acted disgusted with her, Bella couldn't help but feel a bit hurt and self-conscious. Did she smell horrible or something? She knew her perfume smelt lovely and that she washed her hair this morning, so that surely couldn't be it. Had she done something to offend him? That was impossible, they had never even interacted. The girl moved her hair to shield her face from him, her scent filling the air even more as she did so. 'Well, this is pleasant. Way to go Bella, you pissed somebody off on the first day.' She thought to herself as she grabbed the cylinder from him.

Edward could almost not stand her scent any longer and now the class was over. The bell sounded and he was up and out of the classroom faster then any 'human' would be. Could he change his classes? He did not want anyone's blood more then her's and if he had a chance she would be killed. Seconds later he was at the secretary's office begging for another class. "But there has to be something open. Anything." He placed a hand upon the desk in front of her and gripping it to try and control himself.

Bella opened the door to the secretary's office, glad that chemistry was over and that she was away from Edward. Or at least she thought she was. As she looked towards the desk there he stood in all his glory, his back turned to her. Great, what the hell was happening? Was fate playing a joke on her? Was she destined to have a miserable time in Forks? If Edward had anything to do with it, it sure as hell seemed so.

"But there has to be something open. Anything."

The girl was shocked once she heard this. Was he switching out chemistry because of her?

Rolling his eyes he sensed that she was back and sighed. "I guess I have to live with it." He turned around and walked right past her without looking at her. The scent filled his nose again and it disgusted him. The door slammed behind him as he started walking down the hall again. (What happens next? I kind of forgotten the story line. It was two books ago)

( I believe Tyler almost runs Bella over the next morning. xD )

Bella shuddered as the powerful man slammed the door behind him, it seemed to shake the very building. She could not believe that she had angered Edward that much by just being there with him. There was absolutely no explanation, she had never even spoken a word to him! This pissed Bella off, how could he hate her without even knowing her? She shook her head and quickly turned her slip in to the secretary and headed out to her car, driving home swiftly in anger.

Maybe going away and hunting for a bit would help him. The next few days he was missing. But the brother's and sister's were there. They went on like he wasn't missing like nothing was wrong. (sorry kind of short)

A few days passed and Bella was both grateful the Edward wasn't at school and a bit worried that he wasn't there also. He was gone for more than four days, was he sick or something? She asked her friend Jessica about it and said that usually the Cullens went on camping trips together, but that didn't make sense seeing as he was the only one absent. The girl was tempted to go over and ask one of the other Cullens where their brother was, but was much too intimidated by them to do so.

She felt ashamed of herself for even actually caring that the boy was missing after he had been so rude without her even provoking him.

The next day there he was in the seat where he was a few days earlier. This time his eyes were a deep golden instead of black like before. He seemed a little bit different now and a little more relaxed. There were papers in front of him and a microscope. (sorry can't do much without you in the picture)

( Haha, I understand completely. )

As Bella entered her first period, she instantly spotted Edward sitting in his regular seat today. The girl was slightly relieved to see him back, but also worried that he still may be in a sour mood. She quickly took her seat though, not wanting her teacher to get angry. She performed her regular routine and moved her hair to block her view from the beautiful man beside her and kept her seat a rather safe distance away from him. Looks like today was going to be just another wonderful day in chemistry.

A small smile appeared on his lips and revealed his teeth but not his fangs. "I didn't get to properly introduce myself the other day. My name is Edward Cullen." He said smiling and leaning back slightly in the chair. This time he had gone to hunt and he had fed so he did not want her blood as much as he had. It still lingered in his nose but he hid it quite well as he learned how to do over the past almost hundred years.

Bella almost fell right out of her chair as Edward spoke to her. His voice was as smooth as velvet and had quite an alluring quality to it. She turned to face him, a shocked expression on her face. "H-Hello." She stammered, staring at the beautiful face in front of her. "I'm Bella, Bella Swan." The girl said with a timid voice.

"Yes I know. A lot of people have been talking about the famous Bella Swan the chief's daughter coming to live here." He said smirking and then looked into the microscope. After a few moments he read out the type of slide it was then pushed it toward her so she could look. He wrote down something on a piece of paper. Maybe they could win the golden onion today.

Bella rolled her eyes as soon as Edward mentioned her being Charlie's daughter, this town was entirely too small, everyone knew absolutely everything about everyone and it was very, very annoying. The girl eyed Edward's devious smirk and just about melted at the sight of it, his smirk was incredibly sinful looking yet alluring at the same time. "W-Well, it's a pleasure to meet you." Finally. The girl thought the last word of her sentence in her head, it was about time that she had finally met the boy she had been sitting next to for the past couple of days.

She grabbed the microscope as it was pushed towards her and peered through it, instantly identifying the specimen. She had taken this course last year in Phoenix and had probably done this exact same expermient before. She wrote down the answer on her own piece of paper and changed the slide in the microscope before pushing it back towards Edward.
