~CorruptedHatred~ The Wrong Angel! ~NaoChan~

The long blond haired, green eyed man sighed a little bit, walking down the dirt street with his hands in the pockets of his long white coat. He was average height, sizing up to a little under six feet. Underneath his clean clothes, was a flat, nicely sculpted chest, some muscle there and on his arms. The white wings that were normally out, were tucked into his back with his angelic powers. He had been afraid to leave them out in the open lately.

He had just found out that there was a hunter that had been following him for a few weeks now. He hadn't done anything yet, but the angel, Daniel, was sure it would be soon. But Daniel had no idea that there were Angel Hunters. Wasn't that a little weird? He always thought that pure angels were not hunted, instead they were worshiped and prayed too and the like. Maybe the man was mistaken him for a fallen? But that was ridiculous. That hunter had to be really stupid to mistake him for a fallen or even a demon or something that was normally hunted.

Either way, Daniel kept his guard up and his senses on high. He was not going to get attacked for no good reason. The man walked a little slower, not wanting his hunter to know that he knew he was close. He kept a steady pace as he walked, away from the village. He didn't want this stalking to go on any longer than it was.

He was given his orders and he followed them; told to be cautious- so he tried his best not to go over the top. For the time being he was simply watching the other from atop a nearby building. Silvery eyes watching the other with suspicion. He had been following this other for sometime and imagined the other wasn't as stupid as he led on. He knew he was following him. Just the other hadn't confronted him like many other rogues he had taken down, staring down at the other- he let out a gruff grunt before sliding down the side of the building. Better now than never, right? Pulling out the bill he had been handed a few months ago, he examined the picture than took to the small fence by the side of the building; feet holding his with an expert feel to them as he walked the narrow ledge he had made for himself. Only a few more minutes he would watch the other, sensing that the other was getting a tad fed up from it all. All the better for him, a riled up opponent meant more openings. Hiding the bill in a pocket above his chest, he drew out his crossbow- plucking a normal looking arrow he set it to the mechanism. Aiming at the other, he licked his lips- eying the arrow affixed with what seemed to be a 'corrupted' inscription on it. A test. The first shot was always a test in his case, to see how the other would react to unholy energy. Majority of the time, the one whom he shot would get a slight boost of energy then be shot in the back with an equally strong holy arrow; showing him the true nature of the being. Here would be no exception as he sent out the corrupted arrow for the other's back, intent on hitting the other somewhere near the ribs. Silver eyes watching his target to see how he would react as he strung up the holy arrow swiftly into his crossbow.

Daniel let out a small gasp and fell to one knee when the unholy arrow struck his back. He closed his eyes tightly, reaching behind him to pulled out the arrow. He squeezed his eyes shut as blood flowed freely down his back. No good, no good. Ah, he should have had his guard up higher than it was, but he honestly wasn't expecting the man to shoot at him like that. Such a cheap shot!

Daniel looked over his shoulders, up at the buildings. He spotted the hunter and watched him carefully, wondering if he was going do to anything else. He could feel himself start to get a little dizzy. The loss of blood and the unholy energy that was in that arrow was starting to get to him now. But he would not let himself die right now. Slowly, the angel got to his feet and turned to face him, arms crossed over his chest. "Why do you stalk me, hunter?"
