Shots in Hawaii (Me and Kratos)

Leila, the photographer arrived to the studio. Unlike the models she photographed, she was not given such special treatment nor did she get paid nearly as much. She was was dressed in a pair of plain blue jean's and a yellow shirt and vest, with a bag slung on her shoulder. She wore glasses on her pair and her long hair was tied back.

She quickly got the camera out while the make artists and stylists made last minute fussy finishing touches on her subject . She was more conservative then most women, compared to the beautiful men and women she photographed, she was a mere mortal in there godlike presence. But her appearance was not something she spent hours on like them. She just made her self look normal. the only time she dressed up was on formal occasions.

The director walked over and said "You ready". She nodded and said "Yep". He nodded and got everyone out of the shooting area. When she left high school, she had the choice to go to uni and do, a great many things that people would have considered top class jobs, but she instead chose to do something she loved, and she was happy. She just wanted to one day be recognized for her work, not just the people she photographed.

She looked through the lense with her brown eyes and got ready.

Seth was a rather rich individual, yet he only had one thing to thank for such a thing, his looks. He quickly rose up the ranks after doing his first ever modeling session, it had been about a year and a half since that day, now he was offered large amounts of money to try out new styles and promote certain brands by wearing them.

According to him, no one was better at doing such a thing other then himself. And everything always had to be about him. Or else nothing would happen, Some photographers had always complained about him wanting personal shots, as he only had been to a few fashion shows, as he did not like sharing the catwalk with others, since most of them did not even deserve to be their in his opinion.

A sigh escaped him as it would be time to start the shoot, their were a few clothes that had been picked out for him and a few sets that he had chosen out himself. Seeing everyone leave he stretched upwards from behind stage, before beginning to walk out slowly, for now he wore a neat dress shirt that had a black vest over the top, the buttons not done up so that most of the shirt shown, the shirt was rather partially open as well, the black dress pants he wore were his choice, although this particular style of outfit was not exactly what he liked to wear, he was more into denim then into this type of material, and that was his next outfit after this one.

He continued to walk closer towards the camera, his step was slow and elegant as he stopped and struck a pose, one hand sliding into his pocket the other one hung loosely, "Any requests... or are you just one of those photographers that shoot what they see and don't want any particular type of stance?" Seth really only did listen to photographers most times, as they generally got him to look good in a photo and make sure he was positioned correctly, and make sure all artistic elements helped make the perfect photos.

Leila saw him come out. As always, he was un-believably gorgeous, but she never let that get in the way of her job. She was past the gawking stage. She took the first shot and then looked up from the camera. The set was of a lavishly decorated house, fit for a king, in particular it was a bedroom.

She looked up and said "Um, maybe you should sit in the chair?" she suggested. "The colors you have on would go good against it" she said to him. "It that all right?" she asked. She waited for him to get ready and she moved behind the camera again.

Seth liked to look his best no matter what the outfit, although it was hard for him to look bad in anything, even some of the worst outfits imaginable, he had worn just to show that you can look good in them. The set was rather nice yet he seemed to always get decent sets, each varying in theme and what was inside them, no set so far had been the same for him.

Hearing her suggestion he gently smiled before walking over to the chair and at first just leaning against it. Although he had mainly taken her suggestion.. he always did a few of his own things as presented himself rather nicely against it. Posing was just something that came naturally to him, ever since he was young he would just throw around poses, it made him popular at school with the girls at highschool, yet he left in year twelve to follow up this career that he now was in.

He was only about twenty in age, young talent is what they referred to him as in most captioned photographs or articles referring to him. He threw a few more poses, and change his position a little before sitting in the chair leaning his head against the side of his fist as he looked directly into the camera.

Leila saw him moved into his own poses, before sitting in the chair. She took them all and she looked up again and said "Umm, do you want to change into your outfit, or do you want to try a few more poses?" she asked him. Either way, she still had some great shots of him.

She smiled and looked back at the photos she had taken and smiled to her self while he made his decision.

Seth thought for a moment before deciding a few more poses would not be harmful although he would move onto the bed, he then laid down and lent against his arm looking slightly away from the camera, his whole body from head to toe was being shown although after a few shots on the bed, he was definently going to change,

He knew that this photographer would have quite a few good shots already, yet his next outfit was probably more suited to him, and therefor he would try more things, to look better in it. Once he had done more poses on the bed he stood up and then gave the signal that he was swapping outfits, he darted behind the set slipping out of what he was wearing before putting on his designer jeans, a shirt with a tribal design on it, this particular style was street. And was more suited to him.

He now walked out not needing the jacket that had been chosen for him. Just because it was their did not mean that he had to wear it, he had to consider it.. But Seth would not do such a thing, a soft smile appearing before he returned to the set ready for more photo's "well then before we start the second set, any suggestions?"

Leila watched as he moved onto the bed. He looked good on it, so she snapped the poses he assumed there, before he darted back out of the set to change. Once he had returned she smiled and looked around the set, trying to find somewhere good.

She then spotted a chest at the foot of the bed. "Maybe you could sit on that?" she suggested pointing at it. The backdrop of the four posture bed would look good she thought, but then again, she couldn't make him pose.

She looked around once more and said "Or you could try leaning against the cupboard, maybe on the lounge?" she suggested to him.

Seth looked at the chest, his soft smile still remained. So far he was happy with how this was going, and she was professional in attitude, and from the reviews he had heard about Leila... Well she already had a name for herself and was reasonably new.

Hearing the suggestions his mind thought before replying "well their is no harm in doing all three, and If i think of anything else.. I will just do It like before" Once he said that he walked over to the chest and sat on it, looking away from the camera almost completely, to get a more side on image of his face.

Once he posed a few more times he moved to the cabinet as he lent against it throwing a few more poses at the camera before moving more into the center of the set and standing so that the set was viewable in the background before pushing his hand through his hair slowly. He had a photo like that before that looked rather successful, although he was always careful at the speed he ran his fingers through his hair. As he did not like messing up the style.

Once that shot was taken he did a few more poses before walking over to the lounge quickly resting against it before lying down completely on it. This photoshoot was going by quicker then he was expecting, and he had to say to begin with he was a little worried about how it would all turn out.

Leila smiled and nodded and said "Alrighty" she said. She moved back behind the lense as he began to take his new poses. He looked really good in this set, he fitted right again. But then again he probably lived in some place like this anyway, so this would be nothing different for him.

Once they were done, he changed into his third and final outfit. She snapped some shots of him in that and then the shoot was over.

"All right, I think we are done!" she said.

The director came over and said "All right guys, lets have a look at these photos" he said.

Leila smiled and walked over to her computer and plugged her camera, loading the images on to her computer. They then began to go through the photos. The Director seemed really pleased.

"Wow, Leila, you better then what they said you were, consider your self a permanent employee" he said beaming.

"Oh wow, thank you very much!" she said happily.

The director smiled and called Seth over to see.

Seth just noticed the time fly by as poses were shown and performed, his third outfit was put on and in what seemed like minutes, he heard Leila's voice announcing that they were done, hearing that he darted behind and decided to put back on the second outfit, usually he would choose one outfit from the shoot and be allowed to keep it, this time being no different.

Once he was changed, he walked out hearing the directors response, the fact he sounded impressed meant they were obviously decent images. Which meant he would pick a few favorites to add to his collection, of which he would do that later.

Once he saw the director call him over Seth walked over to him wondering what he was going to say, "So what is it that you wanted to say then, I am glad the shoot is over but you know me, once something is finished I am not paid to do civil talks afterwards."

The director smiled and said "Right I know, Listen, I just wanted to know if you would be interested in doing a shoot in Hawaii?" he asked him.

"We got a deal from a company to represent their bathing suit line, It could be a kind of vacation, after all, you wouldn't be have photo shoots all the time, What do you say?" he asked.

Seth listened to what the director had to say, although he did not really appear to show it much, he did respect him for what he always seemed to arrange for him, and this offer sounded to good to be true, "Hawaii, well of course... I have wanted to go their yet been to busy modeling but to actually go their and model, and relax some of the time, sounds perfect"

He had lost his uptight personality for a moment before he looked over to the side of the room "Well then, I take it anything I do over their is at my expense when I am not modeling that is?, I am fine with that if that is the case" He was rather excited actually to go their, he would work on his tan for sure.

The director smiled and said "Well packing you bags kid, we are leaving in a week!" he said grinning.

He then walked around the room notifying all the rest of the crew they would need over there.

He then approached Leila and said "Hey Leila, you did a great job today, listen, how would you like to do a shoot in Hawaii?" he asked her.

"What, Me in Hawaii!?, but...I've only done one shoot with you".

"Leila, your the best photographer we've ever had, thats why I want you on this shoot, Think of it like a vacation, you'll get a little time off as well. What do you say kid" he asked.

"Well, when you put it like that, okay, I'll do it"

"Well start packing your bags, we leave in a week!' he said grinning.

Seth smiled softly before nodding "alright then, look forward to it actually" He knew that their would be one decent photoshoot that would take a lot of effort during the Hawaii trip although the rest of it sounded like, do what you want.. keep out of trouble for good reputation sort of thing which made plenty of sense.

After hearing that Leila would be their he could not help but smile, so far he had liked what she had done with him while photographing and judging by the responses so far, well he probably would prefer her over any of the others they could grab to take the shoot instead.

Leila smiled. By the end of the day, they had retouched the photos and there job was over. She had the rest of the week off till the flight to Hawaii.

When she got home, she began to pack her bags, grabbing her valuables, and the things she would need.

By the end oft he week, she was standing at the air port with the rest of the crew, ready to board the plan to Hawaii. She and the crew ofcourse only had economy class tickets ofcourse, where as Seth had business class, along with the agent and director.

Seth once was cleared to leave as such left heading straight home and slipping into the spa relaxing into it's depths. It was the best thing of his house, well others begged to differ considering it was half a mansion absolutely filled with everything he ever wanted. Everything was either designer label or really expensive.

On the third day of his relaxing he decided to pack his bags, his personal servant helping with the packing, it was done rather quickly and then the rest of the week flew by, he exercised each day, keeping himself in shape before arriving to the airport, a business ticket was given to him, as they were the first escorted onto the plane they waved to the crew, of which they would see once they landed in their destination.

Leila and the crew got on the plain after him, in the economy area. They took there seat. 5 hours later they arrived in Maui airport. From there they traveled to the resort where shoot would be at by car. I the lobby they were greeted by the manager before being shown to their rooms. The bell boy took her bags to her room for her. She had a room to her self. The director said they had the rest of the day off so she decided she would spend it by the pool.

She smiled and put on her yellow bathing suit, a a red sarong around her waist. This was one of the rare occasions where she showed off her body a little. She smiled to her self and walked around the pool happily, before sitting down in one of the lounge chairs around the pool, relaxing for awhile.

The plain flew straight from the airport to Maui airport which was roughly 5 hours, yet with the entertainment that was on offer in the business class, those hours went quick, each 2 seats had their own person foxtel, yet he flicked through and saw nothing worth watching and just left it on the movie channel, about 2 movies passed before they finally landed.

They were then driven to the resort, and he was given one of the best rooms that was available, which meant he would not have a go at the manager. Since they had this day off he decided to have a swim, he grabbed some board shorts he had purchased from a surf shop, they were a decent brand yet he did not put a shirt on to go with it, he had a good body so it was worth showing off,

He went down to the pools before diving in and doing an almost perfect freestyle, his personal trainer saw that he was good at swimming and suggested as a professional sport for him yet Seth shook his head at such an offer since his mind was set. He continued to swim before popping up near Leila "Not going to come swim?"

Leila had been lying on the deck chair when he pooed up and spoke.

"hmm?" she said looking up. She smiled when she saw seth.

She sat up a little and said "I will soon, I was just relaxing a little before hand" she said fixing up her sunhat a little on her head.

"What about you, you seem to be enjoying your self already" she said smiling at him happily.

He almost felt like picking her up and helping her into the pool, yet that urge was weak and his common sense was overpowering such thoughts. "of course, it is Hawaii, and the water is lovely.. If the day was not so far in, I would have gone down the beach.. As that is the prime attraction of this place.. other then me of course"

A small laugh escaped Seth before he dove back under lightly splashing Leila as he did so, he then swam away and started to perform laps. It was ok at passing the time, and everything seemed to be going fine so far.

Leila chuckled a little at his statement. She felt him splash her a little and she jumped a little. She watched him swim laps for awhile before she stood up and took of her hat and sarong and walked around the side of the pool to the diving broad.

There smiling she dove gracefully into the water, coming back up with a smile on her face.

He had swam quite a few laps before seeing her dive elegantly into the pool, he was never much of someone who could dive, he could do flips and a few assorted tricks yet when it came to diving he sometimes would just slam onto his stomach causing the classic belly flop and a loud cracking noise to follow so it kind of made him stop doing such a thing.

Seth continued to swim around a little before swimming a bit closer to Leila "So why did you take up photography then? For the love of it,? To look at hot guys? Or both?" He smiled as he mentioned the other before diving under and appearing on the other side of her, "well?"

Leila saw him swim up to her. She smiled at him as he approached her. When he asked hi question, she turned around to face him and said "Well, When I graduated high school...I had heaps of options...my parents and wanted me to the really hard stuff like law, or engineering, but, I didn't want to...I wanted to do something that I loved. At first my parents refused to accept it, but I did it anyway...and well, I;m good at it, and eventually they saw that. So I guess for the love of it"

She grinned a little and said "Looking at hot guys is just a perk" she said grinning.

"So, whats you story, why did you become a model?" she asked him.

Usually he would distance himself from people a little more, yet after hearing the good reports about the photos she had taken of him... Well he decided that she was ok to be around in that case.. as Leila would be defined as above normal by the sounds of her work. The director meant comments that he said, so for him to say that she was the best they had had so far, meant a lot coming from him.

"Well, I knew that i was naturally good looking.. above most,.. I seemed to be rather popular with the females for this fact, but I was suggested to go to at least one modeling event by a good friend.." He paused taking a breath "and well after trying it once, I was told I was a natural, and that I looked so good on camera.. then I quickly discovered a love for it.. and I am were I am now"

Leila looked at him and she nodded and said "Ahh, I see, well where do you see your self going, are you going to continued to model or are you going to go into other fields" she asked him smiling.

She lay back, floating on the water, looking at the sky for a moment. "The sky is beautiful hear...so blue...." she said smiling up at it.
