Twilight to Dawn, The Days Move On (After Twilight Saga) Spoilers

Jacob was out, leaving the now teenage Renesmee alone in his house. She had stayed with him when her family had to move away, after all her mother couldn't deprive her best friend of his only love. Even if it was her daughter. Nothing all that amazing happened while Jacob was gone, though she had spoken to several people and enjoyed her time here, today was rather dull. Of course, every moment she spent away from her soul mate was dull. She couldn't help but love to cuddle against the large male. She was eighteen, at least, in appearance. She knew technically she was not as old as Jacob, but she was rather intelligent, and certainly looked the part. Her father always told her, in letters or calls that she was special. Her mother would point it out too, but she made sure to let her daughter know that it was a good special, not a disturbing and horrific special. She sighed as she gazed out the window of the house, eventually having gone outside and sat in a tree so she could surprise her mate. She knew it wasn't the wisest thing, but it wasn't the first time she had done such a thing, and she was much stronger then people gave her credit for.

All she ever heard was people tell her how pretty she was and how small and fragile looking she was. She was much like her mother, she could be very smooth with the help of her vampire genetics, but at the same time she had her clumsy moments. She had been tripping a lot lately. She didn't want to admit to Jacob that every time she tripped it was because she got lost in thoughts about when she could really be his. Of course, it had to be traditional, just like her father. Edward had done nothing but make sure his little girl would refuse any kind of advances that would put her in any awkward situation. Sure kissing was fine and so was hugging and cuddling, but he had spoken sternly to her about anything sexual.

A wedding sounded beautiful to the young hybrid. Her mother told her that it was for the best, though Bella sometimes told her lovely daughter that if she did do anything before marriage to make sure she was ready and to use protection. Nessie's reply was always a sour "Mom, don't talk about that" She couldn't help but agree with her father. She wanted to wait until she was married, though she didn't speak much of this to Jacob, she knew that he saw it whenever she showed him of her day. There would always be thoughts of weddings and dances, and everything every girl would want. She was sure that at times it might have upset him, but she was sure he understood. He'd do anything for her, right? She would do anything for him too. She took in a small breath as she sat on the tree eventually spotting the clothes she had laid out for him, she knew one day he'd run out of clothes and they wouldn't have the money to get him more. Well, they probably would, with the money Edward kept sending his little princess.

Presents. That was one thing Nessie got from her mother besides the clumsy habits. She hated presents. Well, not from Jacob of course, but from Edward. Nothing was ever cheap or simple. Everything always had to be extreme. She had things from mp3 players that had yet to be released, to a nice shiny car that sat outside. Of course, she couldn't drive, no one wanted Nessie behind the wheel, Bella always thought she'd drive like Edward, and Edward always feared Nessie would get in an accident. She knew how, but she needed Jacob to drive her if she ever wanted to go somewhere. Nessie pursed her lips a little and sighed before jumping down from the tree in a smooth motion. Maybe she should look for him. Her family was suppose to visit, and she was certain that if they came while he was out there would be some kind of argument. Of course it wasn't his fault he had duties! He had to work with the others in his home to make sure it was safe.

He was running, running? No, almost flying, in his haste to get back to her. His alpha status had him doing all sorts of patrols, and setting other duties for the few others in his little pack. But that didn't matter now (his mind vaguely registered the faint protests of the others attuned to his thought processes) that he was going home. His lips curled back in a grin as he saw the clothes she'd laid out for him; grabbing them in his mouth, he retreated far enough away that she shouldn't be able to see him, and shifted.

When he walked out of the woods a few minutes later, he watched as she jumped from her perch in the tree. One swift movement, and he'd covered her eyes with his hands. "Guess who." Bella's old observation that he acted like a child around Renesmee... hadn't changed much. He was always happiest with her... but that was to be expected. He'd imprinted her right after her birth. And though he loved her - he couldn't quite say the same about some of her family. They smelled horrible. He could smell them from here, could smell Edward and Bella's lingering scents in the house from where he stood. That was okay, though. He couldn't live without Nessie... and she wouldn't live without her family. So he'd put up with them for her.

"Rose!"

The world's most beautiful girl looked up, rolling amber eyes. She'd been reading a fashion magazine when the ever bouncy Alice entered. "Yes, Alice?"

"When did you decide we were going shopping?"

One eyebrow rose as amber eyes watched the raven-haired girl dance around the room. "When did you decide to tell me I'd decided?" Her lips twitched faintly to the side. She guessed it was only right, though. Edward and Bella were due to come home in a little while, right? They'd gone on some world tour or some other such thing. Alice was sure to want to buy Bella something gorgeous for the welcome home party she was throwing.

"I want to buy Bella something gorgeous. You know she's got to have a new dress for the welcome home party!" Alice paused as Rosalie laughed musically. "What?"

"You're so predictable. But all right. Maybe Jasper and Emmett will - "

"Oh, they're coming. They'll announce it in just a few minutes. Something like they want to look at a new TV."

Renesmee laughed and smiled, placing her hands up on his and blushed faintly. "Jacob," she practically cooed as she leaned back against him. She smiled as she stood there, already feeling the joy of having her soul make so close. She always liked this part of the day. The part where they could be together. She had been with him for so long it was near impossible not to miss him when they were apart. Sometimes she wondered if this imprinting thing could have made her addicted to him, just as much as he was to her.

Renesmee removed her lovers hands from her eyes and faced him, wrapping her small arms around his neck and gazing up at him. "I missed you," she said happily before leaning in and kissing his lips gently. She was so in love, and she was going to ask him about marriage today. She wanted to see if he was ready for that step. She certainly hoped so. Though she was somewhat afraid of the results. She knew about the Volturi, she knew they didn't exactly trust her existence. If she got married to her wonderful shape shifter and became pregnant, would they come after her? The thought was frustrating, though she did her best to ignore it and think of only them.

"It's your fault"

Jasper sighed as he shook his head. "It wasn't my fault," he said as he looked at Emmett. "Honestly, what was I suppose to do?"

"Well, you could have tried not to utterly destroy it," Emmett said with a grin. He seemed to enjoy making Jasper slightly annoyed.

The two had decided to compete for the one year old television that Bella hadn't wanted last year. The two and taken the television outside and despite Jasper's protest agreed to a tug-o-war. Some how, by reasons neither could figure out any more, the television had ended up smashed and the rope broken.

Emmett was blaming this entirely on Jasper, though Jasper was pretty certain that the whole mess was Emmett's fault. They both had a reason to go shopping now.

The two walked in to the house, Emmett laughing at Jasper a little before looking up. "We need to go look for a new television before Edward finds out we ruined his present," he said he looked at Jasper who simply shook his head. He was certainly never agreeing to a tug-o-war over a television again.

"Sure, sure." Jacob stated, rolling his eyes. "You always guess right. You're no fun." Well, that was a lie, and he was sure she knew it, but hey... this greeting had become almost ritual, for the times that he'd been able to sneak up on her. He grinned as she removed his hands, and turned to face him. To lessen their height disparities, he placed his hands on her hips, and lifted her, so they were almost eye level, a teasing smirk playing around his lips. "I missed you too." In fact, he'd missed her so badly that he'd put Leah in charge with a thought, telling them he'd be back later. Hours away from her was almost too much to bear. He returned her kiss lightly, never pressuring her into anything she didn't want to do. Bella and Edward would kill him. Literally.

Gently, he sat her back on her feet. "What did you do today?" Would she tell him, or show him? Either way, he didn't mind... as long as she was happy. Her happiness meant the world to him. But then - he guessed that was how it was among those who'd imprinted. It had always seemed like that with Sam and Emily. Maybe he'd ask his dad, next he saw him.

Rosalie and Alice were just stepping onto the landing when the boys came into the house. At their words, Alice sent a very prominent, "I told you so" look in Rose's direction - which was promptly ignored. The two began to walk down the stairs, Rosalie going immediately to Emmett's arms. "Alice tells me that we're going shopping." She murmured, a small smile playing around her lips. Those lips were, half a moment later, placed against her husband's in a just this side of 'appropriate for company' kiss.

Alice danced over to Jasper. "You shouldn't let him talk you into these things, you know." She stated, grinning. Like the little fashionista she was, she'd dressed herself in the latest trend - black leggings that stopped just short of her ankle, high heeled shoes, and a turquoise tunic-top, belted with a rhinestone (or not) encrusted belt. Her jewelry was just as sparkly as her belt, though it was for certain the real thing. Lastly, her makeup and her hair were perfect. Yes, Alice was ready to go out.

Renesmee smiled as she was set down, the teen smiling as she looked up at the larger man before her. "It wasn't anything all that fun," she admitted. She raised her hand up and placed it gently on him. Sure she could speak just fine now, there was no real need to show him. She simply thought it was easier, she had done it for quite awhile anyways. She showed him faces of several people she had spoken to that day, and thoughts about her family coming over. She shifted her hand a little, not sure if she wanted to make him see the next thought, but she did, showing him how she had looked at wedding dresses and everything else needed for a wedding.

Removing her hand now she gazed up at him, she wondered what his reaction would be to the thoughts of her family and of the wedding dress. She was more curious about the family image then of the wedding. She knew a wedding was inevitable, unless Jacob to feel the wrath of her parents. How they tend to over react... She watched him now, her eyes gazing into his and now she ran her fingers though his hair. "Not all that interesting..." she murmured softly in reference to her day.

Emmett wrapped his arms around Rosalie and grinned. "Well, I guess we can't argue with that then," he said softly before kissing her back gently. "I guess it can't hurt much, we need to replace that television anyways. Edward's going to have our heads if he finds out his unused present got destroyed," he told her before thinking for a moment. He was going to make a joke about how Bella probably wouldn't notice because of all the fun she'd be having with Edward when they came back, however thoughts of that one dread arm wrestle haunted him and he decided against it, just in case someone pointed it out. He was going to challenge Bella to a rematch next time he saw her. He would have asked for one sooner, but he had decided to let the new couple have their fun first.

Jasper watched Alice before running a hand through his hair. "I know, but it's a little hard to say no when he already took the prize out to fight over." Jasper looked her over for a moment and shook his head. "How long did you know we were going to the mall for?" he asked, curious to know it it was before or after the television had been destroyed. He made a small mental note to himself that he would have to make sure there was no evidence left.

He let her put her hand against his cheek, even bending slightly so that she could reach him easier. As her day flashed before him, he made note of the people, and took stock of her feelings about her family coming home. When she showed him the wedding dresses, cakes, decorations, and other suchlike, he blinked. Well... he couldn't say it was unexpected. But really... he didn't know quite what to think. After all, he had a sinking feeling that Edward would beat him senseless if he asked to marry Nessie - not to mention Bella's freaking out again. He didn't want that... Seth didn't need to experience another broken shoulder. And then there was those other vampires... those Vultures, or whatever they'd been called. He'd pushed them to the back of his mind, but what would happen if they were to get married? Could the Cullen coven and their allies withstand another faceoff?

"Looks interesting to me, Nessie." He stated, grinning. For now, until he figured out what he wanted to say, he'd leave the wedding stuff alone. "Want to go into town or something? I'm hungry." He could buy out a burger joint or three. Or she could offer to make food for him. That would be nice. "When do your parents get back?"

"I knew as soon as Emmett asked you to fight for it." She responded, then turned to stare at Rosalie and Emmett for a minute. "Are we going or not?" She questioned, though she knew they were. And she knew Rose's response would be -

"Shut up, Alice." Rosalie grumbled, disentangling herself from Emmett for a moment. "Fine. You want to go so badly, you drive. We'll ride."

"I knew you'd say that!" Alice squealed happily, producing the keys to her car. "Let's go!" She took hold of Jasper's hand with her free one, then began to pull him to the door, laughing. "Back later!" She called to anyone in the house that might be listening.

Rose sighed, rolling her eyes. "Have I mentioned yet today how absolutely annoying Alice is?" She muttered to Emmett, beginning to follow Alice.

Renesmee smiled as she watched Jacob. Her cheeks a soft pink as he told her it looked interesting. She quickly shook her head then and laughed. "You're such a bad liar, Jacob Black," she said with a grin before she moved away from him and played with the bottom of her shirt. "How about I cook for you?" she suggested. "I don't you to scare people with how much you can eat," she teased lightly. "They'd be surprised you haven't just gobbled me up," she laughed before kissing his cheek quickly before moving back a little. "We can cuddle after eating," she said suggestively. Of course Renesmee had never done all that much with Jacob in fear of her father just showing up one day and scaring the daylights out of her.

"I'm not sure when they come back. They just said they were coming," she said softly. "It probably depends on if their going to go hunting before they come," she said thoughtfully before walking backwards a little. The back of her foot caught a branch and she gasped before falling backwards. Her cheeks a deep red as she looked up at him. She couldn't help but think that she would love him to just crawl over her and touch her, and... Enough of that! She was blushing enough already, if she thought about that it would probably look like a vein exploded!

Jasper shook his head lightly. "I should have asked you before it happened," he said in a slightly thoughtful tone. He held her hand when she took it and he shook his head as he smiled.

Emmett laughed softly as he watched Rosalie grow a little sour. Nothing new of course. He smiled as he wrapped his arms around her, slowly walking behind the beautiful vampire. "No you haven't said it yet, but you can start now," he said playfully.

Jasper looked back at Emmett and at how slowly they were going. "Any day now," he said with a shake of his head, knowing Alice was excited already. No need to make her wait. She'd pout if they made her wait.

Emmett grinned as he looked at Jasper. "We're coming, we're coming. Now stop being jealous," he teased before kissing Rosalie's cheek before he started to escort her towards the others.

"Hey!" He poked her shoulder gently. "I'm not a liar." ... Well, okay. He wasn't a liar in most circumstances. In some cases... sure. He was. But only when it was best for everyone. Never against her.

When she began to fall, he reached out and caught her easily, chuckling. "You're just like your mom, Nessie." As her cheeks grew red, his eyebrow rose... but he didn't pursue the matter. Likely, she'd just felt badly about falling in front of him again, and for making him catch her - after all, how could he not? She was his world. Besides that small fact, if Edward was to walk around the corner, and see his daugher on the ground, or with a bruise - it would automatically become his fault. And Jake did not want to die. No, no. He... wanted to find a way to ask Edward and Bella about marrying Nessie. That would be the one thing he would be willing to die for. Or, well, one of the two - if his death could in any way save Nessie, his life was over. But that was decidedly morbid.

"Sure, sure. What're you making me to eat, then?" He questioned lightly, gently tugging her toward the little house. He was ravenous (but then, when was he not?).

But Jasper's urging wasn't fast enough. Alice - who'd danced her way out the door - returned, a pout upon her lips. "Aren't you coming?" Of course they were. She knew they were. But they weren't coming fast enough for her - she wanted to go already, darn it!

Rose, perverse as she was, slowed her pace still further.

Alice sent Emmett a pained look. Couldn't he pick her up and carry her already? Rose didn't mind that - and it got them to the car so much sooner. And then they were gone. To the mall. Where she'd buy Bella a gorgeous emerald green silk dress to wear for the party. She already knew exactly where it was, too... thanks to Rose.

Nessie laughed and smiled as she watched him and nuzzled up against her larger companion. She looked up at him, her cheeks still a deep red. She ran a hand over his cheek and watched him for a moment. She decided to show him some of the food she was considering, which included meat, chicken and fish. "Is there something you want in particular?" she asked him. She didn't have much interest in human food, she liked hunting for her food out in the forest. It was always fun to hunt down her prey and suck them completely dry.

Suddenly urges forced themselves onto her and she gazed at him, her eyes filled with love and a little lust. "So wish one?" she asked showing him the different food again, though this time a thought about him coming onto her while she was cooking slipped in. She didn't realize it at first but she pulled her hand away and thought about it before her cheeks turned a deep red and she turned her back to him. "Please tell me I didn't just show you that," she squeaked out.

Nessie was tempted to run inside and just start cooking, but she wanted to see his reaction, to make sure he wasn't upset about her thoughts. There was no real reason why he would be but she was nervous all the same.

Jasper shook his head and told her to go on ahead and get the car started. He looked at her with a smile before looking over at the others.

Emmett was no mind reader, but he had already been thinking about sweeping his love off her feet. He knew how excited Alice was and how stubborn Rose could be. He moved quickly, sweeping his beautiful bride up and holding her in his arms. "Hm, maybe's it's best if I care you all day," he said with a grin.

Jasper shook his head as he could tell Emmett was probably going to be a little more then playful today. He himself enjoyed time with Alice, but he wasn't as open about it as Emmett was. He got into the car after Alice and waited for Emmett who sat his little Rose down before getting in himself. "Alright, let's get going, Alice," he said as he glanced at Emmett for a moment before looking forward when he noticed Emmett had placed a hand on Rose's thigh.

"All of them." Was Jacob's prompt response. However, at her second thought, his eyebrows shot up. Okay then. But he wouldn't do it... no. She meant too much to him to risk Edward and Bella finding that out. And if it happened, Edward would read it on them; him especially. He'd be thinking something about not thinking about it, and there the secret would go. At her request, he tilted his head. It would make her happiest for him to profess ignorance as to what he'd seen, right? "Show me what? The food? It looked delicious."

He carefully swung her up into his arms, grinning. "C'mon. I'll get you to the kitchen safely, since you've started to trip more often." And so saying, he made his way to the house, sitting her on her feet once they reached the door. He wouldn't carry her over the threshold yet; that was for after (when) they got married. "So... need any help?"

Alice grinned, hopping into the driver's seat of her bright, sunny yellow Porshe. Oh, how she loved this car. And Edward had (finally) made good on his promise to get her one. Half a moment later, she'd started the car, the ignition roaring to life. As Emmet deposited Rosalie in the back, and then climbed in, and Jasper settled himself in the passenger's seat, she bounced happily in her own. "Everyone ready?" Without waiting for a response from anyone, though, she'd shifted and they were roaring out of the driveway.

Rosalie had laughed as Emmett picked her up, and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Maybe you should." She wouldn't mind spending the day in his arms... no matter what else was going on. When he sat next to her in the back seat, she ignored safety conventions such as seatbelts, and shifted so that they could resume their make-out session that Alice had so rudely interrupted.

Nessie smiled and laughed as she listened to him. She noticed his expression and shook her head when he pretended not to notice. "You're so bad at lying," she laughed softly before looking up at him brightly. "But thank you," she said softly before a squeak left her lips when he picked her up. She laughed and smiled, burying her face into his chest and letting out a small huff. Oh how she wished that she wasn't so easily embarrassed. "Jacob Black, I will get you back one day for lying so often," she said with a grin. "It'll be something you won't forget."

"Help? I guess so," she said softly as she was allowed down onto the ground. She walked into the house then and held his hand, dragging the large shifter along with her. She watched him, and thought. "Maybe you can help with the potatoes and salad," she said thoughtfully. She wanted to take care of the meat and such, simply because she wanted it to be done properly and not rushed because a certain shifter was starving.

Jasper gazed out the window for the moment thinking about something, mainly, food. He was hungry, but not starving. He figured after today's trip he would have to go out and find himself some food. He didn't want to snap. He was doing rather well, or so he thought. After seeing how well Bella managed to control herself, he was doing better. Though he still had his moments, and he was sure she did too.

Emmett smirked as he sat in the back, he had noticed that Jasper somewhat disapproved of the couple having their fun. He placed a hand on Rosalie's cheek and brushed his thumb over it before leaning in. "Then I think I will. I'll carry my queen all day," he said with a grin before leaning in and kissing her lips gently. He paid no mind when Jasper cleared his throat a little.

Forks, this is the only place left for her to go. Her family wished for her to marry. She wished for a life outside of a home so this was her big adventure. It was either Forks or no life at all. She was hoping that her family would quit looking for her and eventually consider her a lost cause. She was not rich nor poor. She saved quite a bit since she was able too. Christmas and birthday money had accumilated enough for her to buy a 1989 Honda Accord with money to spare. She had a job where she lived before, in California, and she added that to her 'Free Maggie Fund.' She was able to rent a pool house in Forks when she arrived.

Maggie Davis was known there as Cordy Raine. She thought it would fit the scenery well. She lived in California most of her life but like most girls there, hardly retained a big tan. She was not pale or anything but she was not a beach bunny. Her figure was slim and her mind was sharp. Her hair was her favorite feautre other than her eyes. It was the color of choclate and was soft to the touch. She kept it long and it was wavy in syle. However her best feature was her dark blue eyes. They shamed sapphire diamonds with the color. She was only 5'3 but she was a woman in that body of hers. and she was only 19 years of age. She had an aged soul that no one seemed to care about enough to love. Making her way out of the diner where she worked, she slipped on her coat.

The wind nearly ripped her shoulder bag off of her shoulder but she held tight and made it to her car. The people in Forks were weary of her at first but her sweet nature and her pension of keeping quiet made her likeable. She was always invited to get-togethers and celebrations but she respectfully declined. Keeping a low profile was key in her situation. 'Cordy' sighed and made her way to her little house for the evening. She was not much for company. However with the rain and wind ripping at her little car, she feared she would not make it.

Her car hit a puddle the wrong way and it sputtered and die on her. "No, baby please." She whined turning the key and pumping the brakes. She moved out of the car and was instantly soaked. She was on a higway, a few miles from the nearest exit. She stood out there with her hood up on her car hoping for help to drive by.

Jake made a face. "Salad?" Seriously? She was going to make him eat rabbit food. Potatoes, sure. He could handle potatoes. But really. Leafy green stuff that had no taste whatsoever - nor any real purpose in life but to feed herbivores. Ugh. He really ought to be in charge of the meats... after all, he was a guy, and cooking the meat was the man's job. Sort of. Besides - he ate raw meat all the time, fresh from a kill in wolf form. It didn't bother him. Much.

Alice continued to drive, heading for Seattle. The way she drove, she'd cut the usual drive time in half, or less. She could see Rosalie and Emmett in the rearview mirror - and so chose not to look. She knew that they'd make it to the mall without a hitch... no police were out on this part of the road. Besides... with Jasper, it wouldn't matter if they got caught or not. He could just... calm the man down until he was open to the idea that he just let her go with a warning.

Rosalie smiled against his lips, twining her fingers in his hair. She didn't say anything - but she was sure that he knew she'd be perfectly fine being carried all day. Especially being carried by him... in fact; he may well be the only one she'd ever allow to carry her. Edward, perhaps, in a pinch. No matter. Things wouldn't ever get that far out of hand.

Several cars passed by the drenched girl on the side of the road; no one seemed to want to stop. Finally, though, a car - one that had been past once now - pulled over behind her disabled car. A boy got out, the rain drenching his blonde hair in an instant, flattening the gelled spikes. His amber eyes looked her over, and he sighed. She looked cold. Shoving his hands in his pockets, he meandered over to her, apparently unperturbed by the rain. "You need some help?"

He peered over her shoulder - not something hard to do, as he stood about seven inches taller than she did - and sighed softly. She shouldn't have put the hood up on the car. Now the engine was soaked, and it made it all the more dangerous to work on. He'd call her a tow truck. Let them put their lives on the line. He wasn't getting found out, all because he got hit by an electric current that should stop a heart cold. No, he'd take her wherever she wanted - home, most likely - and tell the truck to fix the car, then bring it back.

Renesmee laughed. "It's not for us silly. It's for Billy. Remember, he lives here too," she told him before shaking her head. "You know I prefer the raw stuff just as much as you do," she told him happily. "Be fair," she told him. "You don't need to eat vegetables. Though, I wish you would sometimes. It's good for you," she told him. She blushed when she realized she sounded like a mother. "So, you got it?" she asked him with a stern tone. Obviously she wasn't going to take no for an answer.

Jasper felt a little sour for a while, mainly because of his growing hunger, but when he gazed over to Alice it quickly changed to a calm state, and slowly began to turn more loving. He didn't realize that of course everyone else would feel it. He knew what his ability was, but it wasn't anything as exciting as Alice or Edwards. Sometimes he would simply forget it was there, though it ran through the back of his mind.

Emmett smiled as he ran his hands down over her back and held her close. He couldn't help himself. His angel was beautiful, and he wouldn't remove himself from her presence any time soon. He had already felt pretty excited while near her but as Jasper's own loving sense grew he couldn't help but grow more so. A light growl came from his throat, nothing dangerous, a more lustful one. He knew he had to try and control himself. He was in Alice's car, and they were going somewhere public.

He constantly liked to pretend he could sleep. At the moment, he was in the back seat of the car his 'brother' owned. He wasn't sure why he had tagged along, he just did. He looked at the roof of the car, thinking about this and that. Max was about 90 years old, though he looked about eighteen or nineteen. His face was young, not yet a man, but no longer a boy. His eyes were golden, as was common for the Cullen family. He hadn't known much about the family before the birth of the little hybrid. He had been a lone vampire leading the vegetarian life style in Japan at the time. He had heard whispers about the whole event and had come to get a good look of the family. When he found out they were just like them he wanted to know if he could stay with them. Of course, he was allowed. Alice had seen no harm in him, nor had Edward.

Max blinked when the car pulled to a stop and he sat up in the back seat. He mumbled under his breath that all his 'brother' wanted to do was pick up a girl. He was teasing of course, and he did so quietly so it was just between them. He knew the other could hear him despite having already left the car. Max ran his fingers through his dyed blue hair. His hair was constantly being dyed. This weeks colour was blue, next week it would be red. He was playful, and the family knew it now. He had a habit of sneaking into their minds and making their bodies feel things that weren't happening. He could make it feel like you were on fire, or that you were in the middle of having sex. This one he had tried only once, and well, that and ended up with getting kicked out for a few weeks. He wouldn't do that again. He wasn't sure how it worked, all he knew was that it was a type of illusion in a sense, that could really fuck with your mind. He thought it was fun, it was good for crippling people who intended to harm him, which had been plenty in the past.

Cordy looked as the cars did not seem to care about her and her situation except one. It passed by earlier and must have changed their minds. She was forever grateful to them as she watched a man emerge from the car. He was blonde from the small glimpse she caught in the light before the door shut. There was a passenger there too but she hardly could see him. Her hood was blown in the breeze making her face nearly visible.

“Thank you for stopping.” She said over the wind’s howling gusts. She sounded so appreciative of just the mere gesture of it. The man was much taller than her and his skin was paler than hers. She always considered herself a true Fork’s resident because of the paleness of her own complexion but this man must have lived in Alaska most of his life.

The rain began to let up and she was able to talk normally instead of belting over the storm. “This very nice of you to help out. I don’t know what happened. I was driving down the road and found that there was a puddle that did not agree with my car. Apparently my car lost.” She laughed trying to cheer herself up. "If you have a cell phone on you, would I be able to use it. I want to call a tow truck to take old Betty here, to a garage in town." She could not afford to pay for the repairs but she had no choice now. She wanted to keep a low profile and she could not use her savings for something like this. "I can walk home from here."

Jacob rolled his eyes. In his opinion, Billy could find his own food. The shifter wanted to eat now. At Nessie's no-arguments tone, he grinned. "Sure, sure, Nessie. I'll eat some rabbit food." A leaf or two of lettuce. Then she couldn't fight with him - or tell him that he hadn't eaten any. Not only that, but Billy would be there, too. And Billy would back him up - or at least say that he'd eaten the stupid stuff. "Just for you." And only for her. Had anyone else asked, he'd have downright refused.

Alice looked over at him, her eyes dancing with laughter. "Jasper..." She could feel the effects of his mood - and found it funny. They were in a car, going at speeds that would make drivers on the autobahn wince, and he was feeling amorous. No matter. They couldn't die from wounds sustained there. She took one hand off the wheel, and twined her fingers with his.

Rosalie moaned softly, and pressed herself nearer to him still. She didn't honestly care that they were in Alice's car, or that they were going somewhere public. They weren't there yet. No... what she cared about was the fact that, had Alice not insisted they leave to go out, she and Emmett could have had a nice afternoon in bed.

Tyler grinned over his shoulder at Max goodnaturedly, though he muttered some random obscenity under his breath. He knew the other boy would hear him. And he didn't care. "Those puddles'll get you every time." He agreed, nodding. "The cell's back in the car. C'mon... I'll let you use it while I drive you home. There's no way I'm letting you walk in this rain." What kind of guy did she think he was, really?

He was relatively young, for a vampire, only sixty or so, but he had control akin to Bella's. For some reason, his talent lay in changing the tastes of a person - such that if he didn't want to desire human blood, he wouldn't. He could project that desire, alter it to whatever he chose. He'd joined the Cullen coven less than a year ago, but was already quite at home.

Nessie giggled and smiled before hugging him and leaning up kissing his lips rather passionately. "Good boy," she teased lightly before nuzzling his neck a little. She let out a light sigh before tugging on his shirt a little. She liked him when he had his shirt off, though, it probably wasn't the best to do that while cooking. She nibbling his neck a little before moving back and heading off to take care of the meat and such. She was excited to have a well cooked meal.

Jasper blinked, out of habit, and laughed softly. "I can't help it," he told her before taking her hand and holding it gently. He wasn't like Emmett though. Sure he couldn't help but feel rather happy around Alice, but he wasn't getting turned on and ready to have sex. He was a little upset that Emmett was even heading down that road. After all Alice loved her car, he doubted she'd like it ruined in any way. He'd never hear the end of it if they ruined the poor car. Though, it would give him a chance to buy her a car. He wanted to do that for awhile, after all, it wasn't fair that Edward had given her a car and Jasper couldn't, not yet anyways.

Emmett grinned as he started to run his hands over her body, going down her sides and making sure to be gently. Perhaps they would go off somewhere a little more private once Alice stopped the car. They could have their fun while Alice went shopping. He couldn't help it. His angel was practically calling for him to take car of her.

Max pouted as he heard Tyler and he shook his head. "Careful, don't give her any ideas. Last thing we need is for her to fall for you. How the hell are you going to explain that one? Hmm? You going to look at her and say ' Oh sorry, you can't love me because there's a chance I might utterly destroy you, not to mention I'm a vampire? ' . Come on, make sure you're a little antisocial. You know the girls always love goodie two shoes."

Max lay back down in the back seat. "Oh, I can't see her much from here, is she cute?" he asked, suddenly his mind was no longer on the fact that they were vampires and she was human, no it was on the fact that he wanted to know if she was cute. "Oh, that must be why you're being so sweet. She's got a cute ass doesn't she?"

His voice was smooth when he spoke like an aged whiskey. She shook her head for the briefest moment almost as if to deny his offer but this was Forks not New York, she could be naïve enough to allow him to take her to her hovel. She opened her car door and grabbed her purse trying to cover it and keep it as dry as possible. She had a book and her keys in there and she did not wish to ruin any of it, including the purse itself.

“I think I may be the only person in America with no cell phone. I like to think it makes me more old-fashion.” Cordy said as she approached the car. “I do not want to get your car all soaked because I cannot keep my hood on.” She made her way over to the car and tried to ring out her long hair. She wiped her face as best as she could when she saw the person in the back. “I am so rude, I have not introduced myself. My name is Cordy.” She smiled as she waited for the signal to entered the car.

Jacob returned the kiss, though his grin when she teased him was pained. It was his usual expression when she mentioned anything having any association with 'dog,' but he didn't really mean it. He didn't care what she said, as long as it wasn't anything along the lines of - go away, or Dad wants to see you. Those were never good words. In fact, the last phrase sent shivers down his spine just thinking about them. Edward and Bella still worried him with their reactions to anything he and Nessie might or might not have done. He followed her around the kitchen with his eyes, just waiting for her to tell him what to do.

Alice giggled, though she sent a warning glance back at the two in the backseat. "You break my car, I have Bella break you." She muttered under her breath, knowing full well that they'd hear her. Afterward, her attention returned to Jasper. "How did he trick you into playing tug of war over the TV anyway?" She knew that Emmett had; but she didn't know how, exactly. It promised to be an interesting story.

Rosalie heard Alice, processed the information, and promptly ignored her. The car was just a car. It could be replaced. The mood? Not so much. Of course, if Emmett wanted to stop... she supposed she could humor him. A little. Maybe. It had been almost an entire day since they'd been together.

"Yes, but then you get yourself into situations like this." Tyler stated, leading her back to his car after slamming the hood down on hers, and opening the passenger side door. "G'head. Hop in. And ignore the lump in the backseat. He doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut." Oh, he'd head everything Max said; but he didn't respond. No need to be considered insane, after all. As she introduced herself, he smiled. "Tyler. Nice to meet you, Cordy. You been in Forks long?" With another warning glance at Max, he slid into the driver's seat, shaking his head to get some of the water out. He didn't care about wetness on the inside of the car - they lived in Forks. It rained perpetually. After that was done, he picked his cell up out of the cupholder, and offered it to her with a flourish. "Here you go."

Renesmee laughed and she nudged him a little. "Aw, Jake, you know I didn't mean anything bad by that. I was just teasing," she told him before nuzzling his chest for a second. "You know I didn't mean it," she told him before she moved away from him and got the food out and set the salad and such to the side for him to make. She took the meat and fish to cook. "It won't take long for the food to be ready," she said softly. "Once you finish the salad, could you make use some juice too please?" she asked him as she looked up at him brightly.

Jasper rubbed the back of his head at the question. "Oh, well..." Jasper paused before realizing it had been rather stupid of him. He should have known. "We were talking about the TV yesterday, because he thought it was a waste that Bella didn't want to accept anything that Edward kept trying to give her. He kept going on about how nice a TV it was too," he said softly. "So, today he told me he wanted me to check something out by the house, said it was weird." Jasper sigh. "Times like that I wish I could see things like you or hear what he was up too like Edward," he shook his head. "He had everything ready. Just looked over at me and said we were going to fight over the TV. I thought it was nice, but I didn't think it was that great," he looked back at Emmett for a second before focusing on Alice again. "And then it went from there. After all, I couldn't just walk away." He seemed a little embarrassed about that. He knew it was childish, but he had been challenged to something, he couldn't just walk away. Emmett would never let him hear the end of it. "I'm not really sure how it broke though..."

Emmett grinned as held Rosalie close. "I say we have our fun," he joked. No. He'd bee good. The last thing he wanted was Alice to go psycho on him because of her precious car. In any case, they would be home soon enough. It wasn't like they'd take too long. He frowned when he suddenly felt a little embarrassed and he glared at Jasper. "Oh come on," he growled lowly.

Max held his hands up when he was given the warning glance, his way of saying he'd be good. Max glanced over at the girl and sat up. He kept his voice low, low enough that only Tyler would hear. "She's fucking hot, I call dibs," he looked at her. Cordy? What kind of name was Cordy. That was certainly an odd name. He leaned forward and watched her. "Hey, cutie," he purred despite clearly getting warned from Tyler, he wanted to be playful. "Looks like you're all wet," he snickered before laying back down in the back seat. He couldn't help making the joke. He looked at Tyler, figuring he'd get another warning, so he wanted to play. He quickly closed his eyes as he focused on making it feel like the other's arm had fallen asleep. With the human around he couldn't do much to his vampire brother.

Maggie or Cordy as she told them smiled as the two perked up st her pressence. "I have been here for a few months. I must say I am not sure I love the rain yet but its better than constant sunshine." She stripped her cost off an draped it over her lap. Underneath her coat was a simple black t-shirt that clung to her curves. "Its a pleasure to meet you Tyler, especially since you rescued me from the rain." She smirked as she rubbed her hands together.

"I usually don't look this, well, drenched." She indicated to her drying hair and her wet clothing. She took the offered cell phone and called the local 411 for a tow truck number. Dowley's was the nearest garage and she had her car delivered there. "Thank you." She handed him the phone back and looked out the window. "So are you from Forks or merely visiting the area?"

Bella rose and smiled. She was finally going back to Forks to see her daughter and Jacob. Her stomach was full of butterflies and yet she was still calm about the day. She flung herself out of the bed and stumbled a little. She was still the same old Bella, clumsy and excited. She did not know why they decided to use a bed when they did not sleep. Well, there were other ways to use a bed.

She showered and dressed as she waited for Edward to meet her downstairs. Throwing her parka and suitcase in the car the night before, she dressed in her jeans and sweater and made her way to the front door.

Esme decided it was best to allow Bella and Edward to have their time with Nessie. Carlisle and her should take that vacation they had been dreaming about. She wanted to return back to her island for a few weeks and get lost in her doctor of a husband, only for the brief moments of time. Currently they were back in Alaska, visiting Tanya and their elk. She longed however for her beach.

"Carlisle, honey?" She asked as they were sitting in the living room at their cabin. "I was thinking we can take our trip back to the island. I miss it terrible and Edward and Bella reminded me of how much fun it is there when they went. Can we go there for a few weeks?"

Carlisle had sensed that Esme was tired of the cold and of visiting others. It had been a constant goal for Carlisle to thank every single person who helped in the fight with the Volturi but he knew that it was time their own little escape.

"I have the feeling I know what you are going to ask, darling and whatever it is, I will agree to it. I have been so very selfish and want to please everyone. I think I forgot how to please you." He wrapped his arms around her shoulder and kissed her cheek. "Should we visit Esme Isle?" He asked with a smirk.

"I will start packing now." She stated as she smiled and flew out of the room to pack. Carlisle could not get his smile off of his face.
