A unique gift (Nyoko & zennarion)

Lily sat with her back against the tree in a rather foul mood. Some people thought they had it bad, but she was pretty sure her situation took the first place as being the worst. She was tied to a tree, her hands bound behind her; rather tightly she might add. At least she was clothed, wearing a thick shirt and pants. She had a blindfold on to prevent her escape, which annoyed her and scared her because she couldn't see it coming.

She was a "gift" so to speak, from her village. A dragon had been terrorizing them for a month now and they thought that giving her to him would be the best possible solution. Of course, since she had no family ties she was the perfect choice. She also had stunning features, her brown hair and green eyes made her a popular girl among the boys. In the end all those boys who said they liked her never stood up for her. Her life had gone down hill so quickly she didn't care if the dragon killed her. She could only wait until the dragon showed up.

She could tell it was getting night and colder out, she would either die out here or be eaten by the dragon. Damn her life, she sighed and tried to fall asleep.
