Well, I figured it was time for me to get around to making one of these... So, here goes.
Right, as some of you may know (whoever has read my introduction post), I don't do much of this type of roleplaying. (Gaia, however, has begun to lose interest for me. I'm only there because that's where a few friends are.) Anyway, I'm hoping y'all will help me change that, and be patient with me while I learn.
Another note, probably the most important is: I only do hetero pairings. And while I prefer, certainly, to play females... I will, on occasion, play a male (especially if the opposite party is another girl, and willing to double for me, too)
Now, as for what sort of things I'm definitely up for:
Falling in love (high school/college/younger teens)
Arranged marriages (either the parties are for it, against it, or a mixture)
Medieval era (I have a plot or two for this; one ties in with the arranged marriage)
Fantasy
Modern
Futuristic
Angels/Demons (I have a plot for this)
Various books (Harry Potter, Twilight, the Dresden files, The Chronicles of Narnia)
Various games (Final Fantasies 7-9, Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Zelda)
Various movies (um... too many to list, but here's a short one of favorites: Pirates of the Caribbean, The Labyrinth, The Postman, The Prince of Thieves, Disney (especially Beauty and the Beast), Lord of the Rings, Peter Pan. Ask me if I've seen it; if I have, the answer will likely be yes.)
Things I'm okay with trying out:
Kidnapping
Abuse
Things I'd really prefer not to involve (at least now)
Pretty much anything that I didn't already mention. ^^; Let me learn these first, then maybe I'll branch out.
