Inu's training (Lovely and Zacki)

Tick, Tock. Tick, Tock.

The pattern of the antique clock was as simple as it was elegant, the pendulum swinging back and forth, ticking as it moved to each side, counting away the seconds as it had for the last forty years. The place was a relatively small one - a shop for Kemonomimi Pleasure Pets. The shop was a total of two stories, the first story being a shop that resembled a normal pet shop - the selling of collars, leashes, special medicines and foods for Kemonomimi. The second floor was the actual cages where the ‘pets’ were kept.

There were a number of cages in the store - two large cages for keeping a litter of nekomimi, three small cages for keeping Inumimi, and four cages for keeping Kitsune. Each cage differed only by the type of Kemonomini it stored, and the room was dimly lit, with the exception of a visitor. When a visitor arrived, the room purposefully went to be brightly lit, the light showing that someone was coming.

And, early, on a rainy day, the lights went bright, and the thin and wiry old shopkeeper came up the steps. The shopkeeper wore a set of overalls, with balding hair and thick spectacles covering his eyes. The man that came in next to the Shopkeeper was the opposite - the man was a bit thick, muscles coming from his chest area and his legs. The second man wore a white T-shirt that was worn and partly transparent, his blue jeans a bit faded. The man’s face was unshaven, with little prickly hairs forming from only a day or two worth of stubble. Glancing around, one could see that the man’s hair was cropped neatly to a military shortness, even given his other sloppy looks. “Well, Mr. Leon, please have a look around.” The shopkeeper offered, with a wave of his hand.

Leon smiled, before replying, “Thanks, I think I will.” With that, the man stepped forward, dark eyes glancing at each of the cages, looking in turn at the pet’s that were for sale...

Leon heard the growls and the whine - they were interesting sounds, to be certain, and he almost wondered if only the single Kemonomimi was even present. Glancing about, he noticed quite keenly the Inumimi in the corner of the room, being the only one who was making such noises and moving forward to stare, on top of that. Reddish hair - an interesting color for a dog, Leon supposed, but not totally unusual. Stepping across the room, the man glanced into other cages, making his way towards the Inumimi slowly.

Moving to stand in front of the Inumimi's cage, Leon stared at the Inu, his hand moving to rub the stubble on his face almost from sheer habit. Then, moving his fingers over to the Inu's cage, he moved to touch the girl's hand with his finger, watching her reaction patiently. Leon's eyes watched the reaction of the cages, even as he tried to see how the puppy would react - personally, he would rather have a Inumimi than to have a nekomimi or another kind of animal. Dogs at least acknowledged their master after decent training. And he didn't have the paitience for an animal that liked to sleep all day, lik a lazy Nekomimi sometimes did. The usamimi would be good for nothing but food, he figured, and it wasn't like they kept any bigger animals around.
