When Elizabeth awoke the next morning, she was startled at finding herself... blind. It took her only a few frantic moments to realize that she was wearing a mask, and that it had shifted to cover her eyes while she slept. Feeling quite stupid, she pulled it off, examining it in her dainty hands. "Ah... it's his..." She murmured, not at all concerned, having not looked around to realize she was, in fact, not in her own room, and that last night was not a dream.

He walked into the room, yawning heavily. He woke about an hour before her, and he didn't want to wake her just yet. So he made her some breakfast, something simple. Eggs and bread. What he had every morning.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty." he said softly, sitting on the bed and handing her the plate of food. "You slept rather soundly."

Elizabeth was beyond startled when he walked into her room. And that's when she realized that she wasn't actually in her own room. She was somewhere different. With a groan, she covered her face in her hands, dropping the mask on the bed. "Oh my god..." She managed, drawing her knees up to her chest. "It was real... I've been kidnapped... I'm in your house... oh m'god my dad's gonna kill me..."

"Hush. We aren't staying in this town for long. Tonight, we flee on horse. All he will know is that the Raven stole his daughter away. He might send word to your siblings... but I do nothing without considering the risks." he said quietly. "You are in safe hands, my nightengale."

Elizabeth looked up at him with tears in her eyes. "But... you'll tire of me eventually. Someone else will catch your eye... I will cease to be a treasure..." Her golden hair fell around her face as she started crying. She would never be able to go back to her family. What would she do when he got tired of her? She sniffled and hid her face in her hands again, body shaking a little.

"No, my little nightengale." he said softly. "I started that way. But now... you have stolen my heart." he said softly. "You've done the impossible. You've stolen from the Raven."

She looked up at him through her tears, her body still trembling, her hair sticking to her wet cheeks. "My name... it's Elizabeth..." She murmured, her eyes sparkling with wet, tears still dripping down her face. She held her blanket up to her chest, covering herself despite being fully clothed. She was scared of feeling like someone actually cared for her, not just for her dowry.

He moved closer to her, gently pushing the hair from her face. "A lovely name for a lovely woman. Elizabeth." he tasted it on his tongue and smiled, his hand sliding behind her head, gently pulling her into a loving kiss.

Elizabeth blushed and melted against him, resting her fingers gently on his forearm. It was her first kiss, and her lips felt electrified. She closed her eyes, her lips shy and tentative against his. When they pulled apart again, she blushed and looked up at him with innocent eyes, biting her bottom lip, pink covering her cheeks.

Raven smiled, leaning a little closer.
"My name is Jeremy Ravin." he said softly, looking into her eyes. "And you taste of grapefruit." he added, "It's a good... wholesome... taste." he muremured, his eyes going half-lidded as he moved closer, enticed.

As he got closer and closer, her eyes got wider and wider and her cheeks grew to a deeper shade of pink. She closed her eyes tightly, letting out a little squeak. Too much sexual contact before breakfast. She was trembling again, not knowing what to do, feeling incredibly vulnerable and confused.

He stopped. "What lovely perfume." he murmured, handing her the plate gently. "My apologies for being so bold, Elizabeth." he said softly, brushing some hair from his face as he fetched his own and ate with her, sitting on the bed. "My apologies... I forgot in my haste to bring your clothing." he said. "Should I buy you some? I have quite a lot of money put away for emergencies..."

Elizabeth took the plate and tasted the food shyly, eating with lady-like dignity. "Th-thank you, that would be appreciated." She smiled at him shyly, nibbling at her toast and eggs. "I-I brought a nightgown with me, but that was all I could fit under my cloak." She said, shyly.

"The problem is the measurements." he said softly, finishing his meal. "The seamstress may know if I use yours and tell your father. And you can't go shopping with me, either. Then again, having you run from town to town in a nightgown would be
exciting?
Ungentlemanly of me." he said with a smile. "So..." he held his chin in his hand. "Hmmmm..."

Elizabeth blushed, looking down at her half-empty plate. "I-I do have a dress... the one I'm wearing now is just fine. Perhaps until we get to the next town, I could simply wear this one..." She mumbled. It had always seemed like an odd practice to her to change dresses up to four times in a day. One would do just fine, and she could wear it for several days as long as she didn't sleep in it.

"Would you like me to draw you a bath?" he asked, as he put away his plate. "We'll be leaving in the evening... Let me know if you need anything done before you leave."

"A bath would be wonderful." She said, relief covering her face. She loved baths. They were so relaxing. "D-do you think it would be alright if I went back to sleep afterwards? I'm afraid I didn't sleep very well at all last night..." She blushed, looking quite shy and timid around him, not really knowing what to do or say.

"I'll get it ready right away." he said. "The robe is on the door." he added, smiling. "Remember, we'll be together for while from now on. If you want the relationship to move forward... Give me a clue or two, I'll notice." he said softly, taking her chin in his fingers. Then he left and started to heat the water.

Elizabeth blushed as she looked back into those handsome eyes, and when he had released her chin, she touched it gently, as if wishing for the feel of his skin back. When she was sure he'd left, she climbed out of bed and undressed, putting her clothes in a neat pile on the bed. She still wore her undergarments, but nothing more. Carefully, she pulled on the robe, which was soft and made her feel warm inside. Then she waited on the bed again, waited to hear him call her.

"Your bath is ready." he called, knocking on the door gently. "Let me know if you need anything. I'll be packing up essentials for the trip." he told her.

Elizabeth opened the door and smiled at him shyly, wrapped up tight in her fluffy robe. "Thank you." She said, softly, stepping past him to look around the hall. "Where's the bath?" She asked, softly, feeling cold and embarrassed half-naked under her robe.

"Right down this way." he said, escorting her to a small room nearby where the sun shined through a few windows. "Don't worry, no one can see inside." he said with a grin. "Enjoy your bath, nightengale." he said softly, kissing her lips once and leaving her to her devices.

When she was sure the door was closed and he had walked away down the hall again, she stripped. Bathrobe over the hook, undergarments in a pile on the floor. Her pale, porcelain body slid into into the warm water, blond hair wetting as she bathed herself.

He sighed as he heard the slashing water and went to prepare for the trip quickly. They only needed enough to get to the next town, he knew, then William the guildmaster would take care of them. Part of him was tempted to do one last raid on a nobleman, but he shut out the temptation, stuffing food into bags with clothes and other things they would need.

When Elizabeth was finished bathing, she went back to her room and dressed in her nightgown, wearing full undergarments beneath the dress. "Jeremy?" She called, softly, tiptoeing down the hall, looking for her new caretaker.
