The Knight's playtoys (me and thor)

Akara, Suzette, and Marie huddled togheter tight in the basement of their adopted parent's home, their town was being invaded. Akara was the sixteen year old, considered too old for a new name, the young woman held her younger sister, Suzette tight to her chest. THe youngest, five year old marie did not know of the real danger and was exploring the basement, as she had never been down there before. Akara held a small dagger in her left hand, hoping to protect her sister, suddenly she heard a heavy thump and her father's dying scream, followed by her mother's. They lived on a small island, and their town had refused to give up any of the year's meager harest, it needed all the food it had just to survive. Little Marie stopped exploring, all the girls just froze, Akara dropped the dagger, and both her younger sisters began to cry, Marie really letting loose, just bawling. She did not know what had happened, the leaders of the army were supposed to be nice, daddy said so!
