"Very well Mistress Charmanda." Edward smiled softly at her and nodded as she excused herself to go talk to the head of the house.

He smiled softly at Jacqueline as the page brought over two of the horses, the Prince's and Jacqueline's. The page held the the reins to both the horses, so Edward took the chance. "May I help you onto your horse, Mistress Jacqueline. He smiled softly as he held out his arm for her, the sunlight catching him so he looked more like an angel holding out his hand for her to take and escort her into Saint Peter's realm.

Jacqueline blushed softly as he held his hand out to her. "I... I would be honored, your Highness." She gently placed her hand in his, smiling softly. He'd have to pick her up to settle her on her mare (a palomino of the creamiest gold), because without a mounting block, it was near impossible to sit side-saddle. And that was the only way she rode; it was the only way it was proper to ride a horse. And she, though her blood might rank low, was a lady.

Inside the house, Flora was deep in conversation with her head of household; the one servant who oversaw the rest. They were in agreement - she would keep this house as a little vacation home, citing grounds that she couldn't bear to part completely with the house her husband had bought her, just in case he changed his mind and threw them out of the palace.

"I will be the one whom is honored Mistress Jacqueline," Prince Edward said as he smiled brightly at her. His hands went from hers and then grabbed onto her waist and lifted her up with ease. She was petite, but he was also quite strong. He smiled softly at her again as she mounted her mare who was a great contrast with his horse, saying as his was a dark black and hers was a creamy gold. Edward did not mount yet, as he waited for Mistress Charmanda to return.

Jacqueline's blush slowly deepened at his smile. "Thank you, your Highness." She stated quietly, as soon as she was settled, and her skirt was situated to her liking. She didn't want to show her feet, after all. That was highly unladylike. She did wonder, though, why Prince Edward - the Crown Prince, the man who could have any woman he chose, do anything he chose to do - had taken an interest in her, of all people.

Flora returned soon after Jacqueline was settled, and curtseyed once more. "Please forgive me, Highness. I did not mean to make you wait so long." A motion of her hand had her own mare brought to her - a dark chestnut with a black mane and four white socks. She would let Edward bring up the subject of her moving her household entirely to the castle - she couldn't think of a way to do so without seeming entirely impolite or ungrateful.

Edward smiled softly at Flora, "It was no trouble waiting for you," He held out his hand for her, "Would you like some help onto the horse as well?" He lifted her up onto her saddle before going and mounting his steed. "Well, Mistress Chardmanda, how shall we move your house hold to my palace?" The gates opened before him as he started riding onto the streets. He held back some so he could ride next to Jacqueline.

"Thank you, Highness." Flora accepted his offer of help; and was soon settled on her horse. "As for moving my household..." She paused, and let her eyes fall to rest on her horse's ears. "I just can't give up the home my husband bought for me when we were just married. I did ask them to pack up my clothes, and a few of my personal belongings... but the house at large as it is, I'm hoping to leave. I'll just use it to throw parties or other such gatherings."

Jacqueline listened to her aunt talk, doing her absolute best not to look at the people around them. The women, for sure, were sending her looks of utmost jealousy. The men... something else. She wasn't quite sure what they wanted, but that they wanted something, she was certain. At this rate, she couldn't wait to get to the castle, to get away from their eyes. She did take some comfort from the fact that Edward rode at her side, however.

"Very well Mistress Charmande." Edward smiled softly at her as they rode on, every body shooting glances at the party, but Edward kept a tight grasp on the hilt of his sword in case any trouble should arise. They were at the castle in no time, all the soldiers were required to keep homes close to the castle as in cases of emergency they could rush to it quicker. It was absolutely beautiful, it had been built out of pure stone with giant oak doors. The iron gates in front swung open, revealing a beautiful garden. "Welcome to your new home" Edward said as he dismounted. He went to Flora and helped her down first before going to Mistress Jacqueline and helping her down. Three pages ran up to take the horses away to the stables. The oak doors swung open for Edward as he walked into the palace. He looked to Limun, a servant, "Find two rooms for these ladies, next to each other of course"
