A Lizard-man's Dream (Alien Swede and ChainedKitten)

Day in, day out, everything was the same. Walking through the glorious gardens of the Temple of Light, Theia smiled and looked up into the sun. Feeling the glow she looked back down to the flowers. Though everything here was beautiful it was not what Theia wanted. She wanted adventure, a life! Not cooped up in a pristine white temple, covered in gossamer and allowed to speak to no one. The people who came within her circle were forbidden to speak, lest something they ask force an answer from her lips.

Lady of Light, tell me true, what I wish comes from you.

The beginning to any sentence that the asker wanted an honest answer. An answer she could not deny them. Though sometimes semantics would save her from answering exactly what they wanted. It was hard, because while Theia wanted to talk she did not want to be used and most peoples greed saw no bounds and she wasn’t exactly a fan of being forced to speak. Speaking voluntarily, that she loved, force not so much.

Theia was a beautiful young woman with a natural grace. It could not be said that she was ugly or plain. And behind her eyes lay an intelligence that came naturally to her and that was sponsored by her love of higher learning. After all, it was the only thing she was allowed to do in this place. To read, to think, but never to speak. It was a horrible situation that she was no longer able to tolerate.

Taking a deep breath Theia prayed for deliverance.

Shara was never fond of this type of temples. He had travelled to many words, under many pretextes, but never really liked any human achitecture he'd seen. Always with the white marble and blue hues... It was not even remotely similar to the deep red, brown and black colours he grew up with. The brightness stung his eyes, even the mechanical one, which replaced his left eye. Old scar tissue surrounded it, and part of the elevated crest, which might as well could have been called the eyebrow, was missing. Obviously, this gentleman had been around a little too much around the more dangerous parts of the galaxy.

He was a tall man, but hunched and made his every best to stay undetected. His cloaking device helped immensily in this, which bend light around him. As long as he didn't move around too much, Shara could stay perfectly invisible. The tail, clawed feet and his long, reptillian head was unseen to any of the guards that patrolled the area... Not to mention his entire being. He didn't carry any weapons, which he didn't regret when he saw that the guards only wore crude polearms as service arms, at best.

He stealthily made his way to the destination of this 'oracle' he'd heard so much about. First, he thought it was a rumour, a hoax. Then, a "friend" of his asked for her guidance, and he retired from his smuggling business and settled down with a fortune. Shara found this interesting enough to plan for ehr "liberation" from the tedious life of the monestary. Wether she enjoyed it or not.
