The day was bright, the sun was high
There was no form of cloud in the sky
But then it came,The hurricane
And then the sky turned black

Swallowing up the sun's last light
The hurricane ate everything in sight
Devouring everything and everywhere
Leaving only traces of despair

What could have happened to that sky
When the day was bright and the sun was high
Oh yes it was that hurricane
And then the sky turned black

Remember when it wasn't there
The suffering, pain, and despair
Can you remember that far back
Before it came and turned it black
