Once he let the two unconcious men go, Jeffrey stood up, dusting himself off with an agitated look on his face. "Sons o' bitches. That'll teach you to fuck with me." He growled softly before spitting on both of them as he walked away while dusting his hands off.

However, he gave the arcade a look around before he got too far, noticing that he was all by himself now after Luna left. "Hm. Another clearing house sale." Jeffrey mused to himself as he looked from side to side with a mixed look on his face.

Part of him wanted to make this up to Luna, to at least spend some time and apologize to her for all of the things he had done over the recent years. Yet at the same time, there was another part of him that said that he was right in protecting her. Which part of him did he want to listen to at this point?

Maybe just this once... I'll go with my heart this time. Besides, I think Luna wants an apology out of me. His thoughts echoed to his mind as he began to step out of the arcade, seeing Luna sobbing outside.

As soon as she heard the door open she started to wipe the tears away from her eyes. She folded her arms and sniffled a bit, looking away from him. She wasn't mad at him, she was just ashamed that she was crying after he had just saved her. "Can we...can we just go to your house?" She asked, her voice trembling as if she were about to cry again.

"Yeah." Jeffrey answered with a nod of his head. "Besides, it seems like today wasn't exactly a good day to head out, anyway." He added, sounding as if he was disappointed with himself. Following this, he then stepped over to Luna and gently brought her off of the wall she was on and carefully puller her close to him as they began walking at a slow clip.

For once he sounded as if he were sorry about raising his fist. When he pulled her close to him she smiled a bit. She felt safe whenever he did that. "Thanks. For saving me." She said quietly, resting her head against his chest. She had no idea what to say after that. It was kind of awkward, but then it wasn't. Luna had an idea why she felt that way. Her friends had always teased her about why she was still friends with such a brute. But Luna didn't think she was in love. Her feeling for him never changed.

"Anytime, Luna." Jeffrey answered with a smile and a nod as he continued walking with her down the street, heading to his place a few minutes later. "And hey, if at anytime you need me for something, just come and get me. I'll be right here for you." He added, looking at her as he spoke.

"In any case, here we are, Luna." Jeffrey said, pointing at his house.

Luna nodded. She had been here all the time. She knew. "Is anyone home today?" She asked before she proceeded to knock on his door. She could never tell because no vehicles were ever in the driveway. She looked into his eyes and sighed.

"Nah. It looks like it's just me today. Besides, my folks don't come home until later." Jeffrey answered with a shake of his head as he spoke. "So I guess this means we finally have some time to ourselves for once." He added, looking at Luna with a smile on his face.

"Yeah...I guess.." Luna replied nervously. She nodded and then got the key from his pocket. She unlocked the door and then went in, immidiately going upstairs to his room. She sighed, seeing it was a mess once again, and began to clean up. She started with the clothes on the floor, throwing them in the hamper. Then she began to collect his smutty magazines with a sigh. Pervert.

Once inside the house, Jeffrey shut the door behind him and locked it. After all, it was his parents' request that it be locked due to the recent rash of violence in recent weeks at his school. However, they never asked him personally about it.

From there, Jeffrey took his time with getting upstairs and heading for his room. Upon arrival, he saw that Luna was attacking his room, putting his clothes in the hamper in the corner of the room then collected a few of the Playboy and Hustler magazine that he had collected in recent months.

"I'd appreciate it if you didn't throw those out, Luna. I plan on keeping them so I can sell 'em on eBay for a good profit." Jeffrey said with a slight frown.

"Okay..and in the meantime you'll be staring them down everynight. Whatever." She put them in a neat stack on his dresser and then began on his bed, finding empty bowls and dishes. "Question...where are your textbooks?." She asked as she stacked the dirty dishes and gave them to him so he could put them in the sink. She made his bed neatly and then sat on it, crossing her legs and folding her arms.

"My books?" Jeffrey asked, arching an eyebrow. "Those I left at school, in my locker. After all, they're school property." He added, veering his eyes off to the side and shrugging his shoulders in a "there you have it" manner after he took the dishes and plates in his hands then took them out to the kitchen. Following this he then came back to the bedroom and sat down beside Luna.

"You know you can take them home." She called after him. When he came back in, she crossed her legs nervously. Luna looked at him for a while and then sighed. "When are you going to stop fighting, Jeffrey?" She asked, placing her hands on her lap.

"When will I stop fighting at school, Luna?" Jeffrey asked, sounding as if he didn't hear the question correctly. "Hm. That's a pretty damn good question." He added, leaning back onto the bed, sighing heavily. "I don't know how to answer that, even if I could. Besides, you'll only think I was lying to you even if I did answer it." He concluded his thought, looking up at the ceiling.

She closed her eyes. "So you're never going to stop until you're dead? Do you even know how much I worry about you every minute I'm not with you?" She asked, her voice hardly above a whisper. "I really want you to stop...I'm sick of feeling sick inside. I'm sick of waiting for you to call me every night so I know you're okay."

Sighing, Jeffrey sat up and looked at Luna squarely in the eye as he spoke.

"Luna, I'd love to stop it all just for you, but the truth is this. Even if I did stop, that would be the day when every one of my guys are disbanded completely." Jeffrey began. "So, I decided to hang in there with them for the long haul. These guys trust me so much that they all see me as some sort of father figure to them when their real dads weren't man enough to step up to the plate or were off doing something else entirely." He added.

"But don't think for a moment that I forgot about you, because I haven't." Jeffrey said, pausing for a moment to take a hand into hers and looked her in the eye as he spoke again. "Do you remember what we promised each other back in middle school, that we'd always be together no matter what happens?" He asked. "Well Luna, I want to keep my word. I want us to be together right here and now."
