To be in a gang. It was something that held a feel of comfort about it; especially for James. Being the leader he felt the warmth from his fellow members, they revered him for his decisions and understood it was the best for them all. After all, he was rather fair despite his looks. Even with such a thing, there wasn't really such a thing as peace for the black king's gang. Their rival gang had started up a few rather irritate riots against them, trying to throw them out of their own territory. They fought back, but the gang war was wearing on everyone's mood. Even the new recruits he had been given felt it. There had been an influx of over 7 to join their side, understanding the softer ideals of the black king's gang. Though admittedly the gang seemed a bit rougher around the edges than what others would believe.

Now resting silently against a couch in the group hangout of the gang, he could hear a few of the older members bickering to each other simply letting their tongues speak their dismay while the music in the background droned on softly. James was at peace for now, eyes closed, body slumped across the cushions as he rested there. Not many dared bother him when he was like this, in fear that he would come out into a rage. Not exactly able to control the fits that he went through; he tried his best. That was what everyone could give him.

Not many members of the princes of chaos that would risk going into black king territory without a least five other guys, let alone going by themselves. Of course, it was exactly this kind of shit that Max where he was in the gang. Out of everyone he was the only one with the guts to take on the crazy-ass stuff that was sometimes required, or at least the most suicidal. Coming from a member of the princes of chaos, a gang known to be one for spreading disorder and pain for the sheer hell of it, this was saying a lot.

He was near one of the hangouts of their rivals, keeping an eye on things from the seat of his car. For once though, he wasn't doing it for his gangs sake. It was more personal than that.

For a long time now their gang had been trying to force the black kings to give up control, no longer wanting to share the city with them. Max could tell things would get ugly soon, and like everyone else was itching to spill someone's blood, but had a personal stake in the outcome: his sister.

Not many people knew that Max's sister was part of the rival gang, something Max tried to keep from spreading. With the way things were going though he knew he had to do something to get her back, whether she wanted to or not.

Maria looked at the leader then to the other gang members and growled some. Ever since the gang leader had found out that her brother was in the rival gang he had had the gang members and himself beat on her a little every day more and more coming everyday. Whimpering some as she looked out the window of the hideout her eyes went wide as she saw her brother in the front seat of a car watching her and the rest of the gang. Biting her lip hard she looked at him then back at the leader then she started towards the back door wanting to get some fresh air.

Again since the gang found out her brother was in the rival gang they always watched where she would go and watched over her like a hawk or like she was a prized posession. Whimpering some she bit her lip then held onto one arm that was bleeding a little from that mornings beating. Looking back she shook her head then went to the back wall opening the door and looking out wondering what was going to happen. Why was her brother there and was he planning to try and get her back??

She shook her head and looked back at the leader laying on the couch. She knew she was a prisinor and was keeping her just to let her brother and her suffer. She didn't care anymore she just wanted out of there but getting out of there was hard when the whole gang kept a close eye on her. Looking back out the door she looked down at the ground and kicked a rock out of the way then started to walk out until one of the gang members yelled at the leader. Growling deeply she looked at the member glaring deeply at him "god damn it bitch".

Indeed he had put his hands on girl, but the gang around him had been a tad harsher than he. He didn't want the other to do something foolish, so he had pressured her while the other beat her relentlessly. Resting there it seemed, he was in a rather good mood for the time being. That was until, he heard the words of another nearby. One of the bickering men had gotten riled up and swiftly came to his side, gripping at his wrists angrily in hopes of crushing it while trying to smash in his face. That was a big no no. With a fierce and swift motion that tables where turned. The other smashed against the side of a nearby coffee table, face bleeding heavily as straps bound his hands. James' foot against the other's rear. "Never try that... " he hissed lowly before pulling the man back, pressing his hand down the others side to touch the other's private parts. The others would know he swung both ways and seemed to enjoy it no matter what. Stroking the other for a moment he then tossed his to the couch, sitting down atop the other's back as punishment.

Max flicked his lighter on and lit a cigarette. He was beginning to think this whole stunt had been a bad idea. He couldn't make out shit from where he was. All he knew was some king of tussle was going down but he didn't know with who are over what.

While that was going on he saw his sister appear at the front door, looking her usual self. He could tell she wasn't being treated right, something that pissed him off a bit. Noone should lay a hand on her, except him of course. He flicked his headlights on and off real quick, letting her know he saw her.

Maria whimpered when that happened and she looked back looking at the leader then away growling some "what a bitch". She shook her head and saw the lights flash on and off which showed in the hideout and she whimpered wondering if she could make if over to her brother before the leader of the gang got to her. Looking back at the leader then at her brother she shook her head and started to walk out of the door hoping the leader or the rest of the gang would leave her alone for once. She also wondered if she should go with her brother with the way he treated her also but he was her brother and she came to know that he was able to do that.

Hissing through his teeth, he eyed those here. They seemed to swiftly realize her absence and went to find her, eyes narrowed angrily. Wrapping his fingers around the man whom had bothered him, he could be heard whispering "Can we live the life of peace and happiness? I don't think so..." he growled, looking like he would be snapping the other's neck with his fingers. Instead he gripped the other's shoulder and dislocated it as he rose off him. "I'll be seeing you later." he purred darkly. His own form of torture was something no one would want ever in their life. This man would be receiving it soon. The other men would find Maria as they went, hoping to keep her contained.

He could see his sister leaving the hangout and swore under his breath. Stupid bitch was going to get herself killed.

Opening the car door he stepped out onto the street, waving her over to him. He hadn't seen her for awhile now but he didn't plan on just abandoning her. The black kings had held onto her long enough in his opinion.

"Maria," he said, voice dripping with sarcasm. "how is it being a bitch for the black kings?"

He saw one of the other gang members see her on the street and knew that things where about to get ugly if he didn't do something. Running over to his sister before the guy could reach he pushed her behind him, blocking her off from the other. This guy was obviously just a nobody in the gang and wouldn't be a problem.

The black king look Max up and down and snarled. "What the fuck you think you're doing? That girl's in AAAAAAAARG!"

That's the sound someone makes when you jam a cigarette in their eye.

Turning away from the guy crying on the ground Max looked at Maria. "So, how have you been?"
