Samson glanced upwards when he heard his comrade's shout for immediate assistance. That crazy son of a bitch! He should've know better than to hang onto a dragon's tail after making the kill! Nevertheless, Sir Ander needed assistance right away.

"Damascus! Hold them off!" Samson said to his dragon before standing back up and leaping off of the beast's neck and into the sky. From there, a slight metamorphisis of sorts took place as a set of dragon-like wings shot out from hidden slits in the dragoon's armored back and expanded outwards to catch the air that was rushing at him powerfully.

With two mighty flaps, Samson took to the skies hurriedly, looking upwards at his plummeting comrade and catching him singlehandedly.

"Got you!" Samson shouted as he caught Sir Ander in midair. "You should really consider some more flight lessons, comrade! Falling straight down is not one of them!" He said jokingly.

Desiraoth turned to the human female simply snorting through his nostrils, normally he would have said something, but he didn't like to speak often. Desiraoth knew that it'd take more than that to kill Sir Ander, he'd been with him for some time now and knew of the human's capabilities. Desiraoth merely jerked his head in the direction that Sir Ander was falling signalling for the female to watch and pay attention. Suddenly Desiraoth's attention was caught by the sound of a harsh roar nearby. Flying upwards he narrowly evaded the intense flames spewed at him by his fellow dragon turning around to the human, he narrowed his eye's.

"Hold on tight to my back..."

The Dragon said in a low deep voice with a bit of a hiss to it. Turning his body in a looping fashion he demonstrated his aerial skills, using his club like tail to smash the other creature in the face. Backing off Desiroath reared his head back releasing a concentrated ball of fire that slammed into the other dragons under belly burning a hole into it. Snorting he went back to paying attention to his rider. Andrew gritted his teeth really hoping that Samson happened to be in the mood to save him from his fate with the ground below. Feeling himself caught by Samson holding onto him by his forearm. Smiling as his friend spoke to him Sir Ander chuckled. "I thought I'd be attempting a process of trial and error." The knight said with a laugh as Samson carried him through the air.

Sophia didn't have to be told twice. She held the dragon tightly as he told her to hold tight to him. Her eyes closed and she screamed as the actions took place, but she placed her faith in the dragon, whether she was frightened out of her wits or not. The noble woman loosened her grip on the dragon when all danger seemed to have passed. "Well fought," she said with clear respect and admiration. All things considered, she felt quite safe, if not stressed.

Risking a heart attack, she returned her attention to the riders who were currently saving her life. Her light brown curls blew around her as she watched them fly, astounded. Who were these people? There were only a few dragons left in the air and they didn't seem too keen on staying. Relief came to the lady and she couldn't help but smile at the two knights and their shining victories, her gratitude to them and their dragoon friends immeasurable.

With his leave those there that hadn't been maimed or taken down tried to make their leave, the faint scent of his body leaving the air around them. Something about his scent was intoxicating, not that they would figure out why it tasted so sickeningly sweet and disbelievingly addictive at the same time. Snorting one of the larger dragons tried to make his leave, wings flapping heavily in the air as his green hide shimmer in the sky. He had been one of the closer contacts to Bakuya and admittedly one of the smarter in the rogues. Most considered him to be the leader of the groups but it wasn't entirely certain. With a burst of wind, he flew forward- trying to capture the faint scent of his master. Only those who had taken in a whiff of him would instantly know whom he was, otherwise the scent wouldn't register or would simply distract others. It was an interesting effect, something the dragon hybrid enjoyed.

Pressing further, he made his way back to where he had been supposedly coming from. The green scaled dragon above him named Eywm was simply trying to catch up with the quick feet of the other; seemingly looking like he was running away from the scene as if frightened. Bakuya made his way in, hands scrolling over the parchment he had on hand- making a simply note so that the nearby scouts would take his note to the others. Without even stopping he turned, running elsewhere. Eywm following with a 'dazed' expression to his face, not entirely sure as to where he was being guided.

After manuvering himself around so that he was flying back to Desiraoth, Samson only smirked at Sir Ander and shook his head. "Trial and error in a time of battle is not something you should attempt until you get your wings. It may take some time, but at least you'll get them, sooner or later. In the meantime, you should stick with your mount and leave some of the more riskier moves to me." He explained, smiling down at him for a moment before he flew back to the blackened dragon and placed the dragoon down on his back.

With that, Samson hung in the air for a moment, looking at the maiden they were charged with rescuing and arched an eyebrow at her. "So, I take it that you and your company were attacked by these rogues, madam?" He asked, studying her for a moment.

(Ack... I know this one's short, but it's all I can think about.)

Coming down to the ground with everything appeared to be over Desiraoth let the female down looking up as Sir Ander and Damascus approached. Looking at the human the dragon snorted again. Desiraoth always had disapproved of Sir Ander's reckless methods but he couldn't help but admire the man's ability to get things done. Never before had Desiraoth seen someone who could literally burst out into laughter in the face of death...and then roll around holding there gut for about five minutes of unnecessary chuckling. Then again a true warrior cared not about the stereotypical perception that a great fighter needed to appear fierce all the time. Sir Ander looked up to Samson with a smirk this time at the man's comment.

"Aye but I won't be needing wings when I've got a friend to catch me will I? Plus flying is not really to my liking."

The knight said as the came to land. Studying the woman aswell Sir Ander was much more upfront than Samson, probably because of his youth. Approaching the woman in a manner that would appeared desperate to most Sir Ander dropped down to one knee almost as if he was going to ask a woman that he had just met to marry him." My fair lady, thy flowery beauty could make even a goddess blush with envy! Surely that must be the reason why you where attacked?" Sir Ander said in a manner that would likely make a fool out of himself. Desiraoth rolled his eyes and lowered his head, stepping away from the man as if to say 'he's not with me'. The dragon proceeded to turn his head looking to the spot where their little spy had been perched earlier. Turning to Damascus to see if he had noticed as well he guided the other dragon's gaze to the spot, still drenched with the half lings scent.

Sophia blinked as the knight who had saved her practically through himself at her feet. She couldn't help but chuckle a bit as she blushed. "You may rise, good sir. There is no need to bow to me after you saved me. It is I who should thank and praise you. Your friends as well. I owe you much." She bowed her head gracefully, letting her light brown curls fall over her shoulders, though they were a bit looser thanks to their rough treatment. "Please...I know it's not much of a consolation, but come with me to my manor. I will see to it that you are all rewarded. As for the reason of attack...I can only tell you that they appeared to be rogues that didn't take kindly to there being an agreement between the dragons of these parts and the humans on my land..." She frowned and looked around her, the bodies of her servants rent from battle.

"There's nothing I can do for them now. But I shall send for a priest to bless them...there's much to do." With that, the maiden furrowed her brows and headed toward her home on foot, completely forgetting about the men around her, preoccupied with the things she now needed to do until she realized that no one was following her. "Will you come with me?" she asked, turning to face them once more, a bit shaken, by her experience. Still, she managed a soft, sweet smile for the entire party.
