xD Yeah, I'd say that you're probably going to need something more than that to get a decent plot out of it. Where would you like to expand it? I think that the woman's role should be more clearly defined, as well as the time period, though it sounds vaguely medieval. What do you think?

That was actually the whole premise of this discussion. We were thinking sometime during the medieval days, like sometime during the 14th century.

And as for the woman, yeah, I think maybe like a noble or royalty of some kind.

I'd like them to be Knights. Maybe under King Arthur? Also a little bit of fantasy, Dragons, Giants, Ogre's and the like? The female could maybe be a princess that they go to save?

HOWEVER!

I don't want the damsel in distress to be one of those Chicken Little "the sky is falling, th sky is falling" types. I was thinking maybe buff her up somewhat to handle a blade as well.

I would like to stay away from full out royalty, but a noble I could see. Then again, the princess role does offer a lot of room for opportunities to turn the two knights against each other in more violent situations than a noblewoman might. And what might the dragons and the like be up to? I'm all for having dragons as more intelligent creatures, but that's just me.

Either one is fine with me. ^^;

Hmm... These ideas do offer a bit more freedom to have it lead into a major escelation of violence on the two knights' part...

But I do see your point, Candira, about trying trying to keep away from full blown royalty. Maybe we can work our ways around this.

She could be village girl? I mean it doesn't always have to be royalty does it? Also how about this being a modern medieval time? Gun replacing swords and the like?

Unless if you wanna ADD guns and swords to this, then I'm all for it.

Well, we could always have the noblewoman be trying to negotiate peace. She can know how to handle a sword, but it traditionally makes more sense for her to be an archer or someone who can throw blades and hit a target. It would also make it easier for her to be over powered, which would be where you two come in. Though I'm not sure what else you would want to see....

As for the village girl, that plot is workable, and a bit easier to put into play. As for the guns and the like, I sincerely doubt that a peasant would have much prowess by any means in using guns, let alone having a woman know about them (given the time period).
