the woman instructed Michael to put lily back in bed. all that lily needed was a chance to build up her strength some good warm meal and some rest all things Michael could provide for her. she left Michael with somethings to help with lily's pain and told him to simple take care of her. in truth the woman just want to force Michael to care about lily.

Michael agreed to help Lily. Even though he didn't show it, nor would admit it, Michael did care about her now that they were married. For several days, Michael stayed be her side, not sleeping and eating only bread and water the whole time, while giving her everything that was left for his use.

After about lily regained most of her strength and the pain was gone. she did though wonder why he sat beside her every day and eat very little it made no sense to her finally she got up the courage to ask him "what game are you playing now? why are you pretending to be so nice?"

Michael was so exausted by not having a good meal and any sleep for several days, so his walking grew very unsteady and his hands where shaking quite violently. Despite all of this, Michael was still able to care for Lily by cooking and cleaning for her. Though he had gone through many nights with no sleep before, he always had at least one good meal to keep his strength up. Suddenly and without warning, Michael dropped his cup and fell down to the ground.

Lily watched as he seemed unsteady and soon the crashing of his cup was hard followed by Michael crashing to the ground. she didn't know what to do so she quickly called for the guards to help the lord. they laid him down in bed next to lily giving him a chance to rest. one of the guard went and got water and some food for him to eat to help build his strength.

Michael's vision was very blurry and his sense of touch was growing duller and duller untill he could no longer feel anything. He also couldn't tell who was yelling out loud and just as suddenly as he dropped his cup, passed out.

Lily watched as people rushed to help him she asked many times what was happening but still no one gave her answer. she looked at michael and for the first time she said his name instead of calling him a monster.

It was clear to the villagers that he had worked too hard to care for her, but none of them told her what was happening because everyone, but Michael himself thought she was nothing but a spoiled brat would only wanted to the marry the lord for his wealth and power.

All this excitement was a little to much for lily and she found herself having to lay down next to him. she felt a little dizzy. she laid on her side looking at him for a long moment. she thought he was handsome but she quickly tried to shake it from her mind when she remembered what he did to her. her eyes closed then and she fell a sleep beside him
